Frank's Successor
I think my son is well on his way to becoming Frank's successor when he decides to hang it up.

Do you think Whit wants his resume now, or would it be in better taste to wait?

I had "Just Stop" gif all picked out for this topic and then you did this. Bravo to you sir!
Also that is freaking hilarious right there.
Thanks. I was looking through my wife's pictures of his field trip and couldn't believe what I saw. I only wish he were wearing a leis too.
I read this headline and got pissed. I opened it up and now all I can do is giggle. That is fantastic. Send his resume, he's a shoe-in.
Nice, but the real question is - Does he use intellus wireless?
No, but he uses the hell out of our iPad. Maybe we can get a new sponsor? Surely we'll get all the recruits if they get their playbook on iPads.
This is good. This is new generational thinking. Hire this kid now!
What a cutie!!!!
Pre-click: Here we go again.....
Post-click: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
THE THREAD TITLE IS A TRAP! But it's okay this time.
Good stuff. Cute kid. He has my vote.
I knew this was coming!
*tarp
I've never been a proponent of the "Coach in Waiting" philosophy, but I think the "Coach in Preschool" concept could very well take college football by storm.
I'd run with it all day long.
Hey, TimeCop skips that step altogether and offers scholarships for pre-K student-athletes
Not one kid is paying attention to him..... LOL
Just like everyone that plays for him
Are we sure that pic isn't taken during a game? About the same number of seats filled.
They were probably in timeout.
Explains why the kids are all doing whatever they darn well please. Not even kindergarteners believe Mike London can actually call timeout!
So I know I shouldn't bring up an old thread that has since passed, but this thread is so golden I had to respond to this comment to ask why this comment doesn't have 100 legs.
That is all.
"Go Virginia Tech Dinosaurs!" ~ Bruce Smith
Nice. I think that's my most-turkey-legged Mike London meme (and probably post) ever. Well utilized!
Couldn't remember if it was you or Wartooth that conjured this one up
So, judging from mine...and everyone else's reaction it seems, everyone came in here looking for a fight..but were pleasantly surprised. lol.
But seriously, what can your son do for Virginia Tech? What is he going to do to consistently keep us at a higher level? Can he walk the walk? Can he talk the talk? Whats his staff look like? Does he run a clean program? Does he put his toys away? Whats his nap time? Does he eat his vegetables? Answers, my man. I NEED answers.
So... you're going to be one of those troublemakers that wants instant gratification right now. It's common sense that every good coach is going to need a few years to recruit his guys to his system, learn big words, and lose their baby teeth.
Geez...
His staff at work:
He's already versed in the cheer "H-O-K-I-E-S, HOKIES!" so he can motivate the crowd. If his interactions with me are any indication, he'll coach his team to be highly physical (although they'll also receive a high number of unnecessary roughness penalties). He can walk. He can talk. Toys are obstacles meant to increase your dexterity while running at top speed, why would they be put away? We won't have to worry about media leaks, because he'll have the team up and practicing earlier than any other human would consider getting up by.
One small issue though. We may have to be cool with cheering for the Virginia Tech Dinosaurs.
The Virginia Tech VelociHokies! Can we make this a thing?! Because I want it to be a thing!
I feel like something could be done here.
...wow. much perfection.
Ever wonder what a fighting gobbler should look like?
I can absolutely get behind both of these options.
Why not, kids are geting offers out of middle school now so pre-school is the next logical step. My 4 year old has redonculous strength so I already know he is going to be a future Hokie tackling machine at LB or Safety, just have to get Whit on board! ;)
"Those pumpkins will get after ya."
I have a few questions about all this, because I'm just not so sure...
