(ESPN3 access may be blacked out since I live in the area where it's on local tv so try it out & see for yourself)
Two ways to watch. I would recommend watching via WatchESPN as it will provide the best quality.
1) Go to WatchESPN.com
2) Click on Remote Access
3) It will ask you for your provider. Select Xfinity/Comcast
4) It should then take you to the Comcast login screen. Enter the following:
Username: VTFootball2014 Password: Hokie4lifE
(password is case-sensitive)
5) Once you click ok/sign-in, you should be redirected back to the WatchESPN website where you should now have access to the game. All you need to do is find it and click on it. Enjoy!
or
Go to the link (http://watchvt.blogspot.com/) below at 12:30pm and I'll have a stream of the game going there.

Hey Phreak, thanks (as always)! So, the wife had a family reunion today and I missed the game. Is there any place online where I can replay the game? Does Watchespn offer a same day replay option? Thanks!
Yup, it's up for replay on WatchESPN, complete with satellite feed glitches.
Ugh, that was for everyone? I was hoping that was just my local feed. Awful.
I thought it was local, especially since the Fox Richmond station is completely incompetent, but they made the announcement several times during the broadcast that it was on the Raycom side. By the fourth quarter, WRLH changed the crawl at the bottom to read that Raycom was having technical difficulties. I'm sure their voicemail is overflowing.
Had to be a bad connection in the truck. It was bad enough I stopped watching at home and went to the game at halftime. I couldn't believe the amount of people already leaving the game.
Sitting in the stands for the 1st half was brutal.
We had to leave after halftime my little girl was feeling the effects of the sun and no breeze. Icy drinks didn't help and we got them drinks even before kickoff.
It didn't help.
Early season noon kickoffs can be brutal in the sun.
Of course we'll get late kickoffs in the colder months.
That is definitely understandable, it was part of the reason I didn't want to go in the first place. I got burnt at the GT game, but made sure I sunscreened up before I headed to the stadium this time. By the middle/end of the fourth, there was a nice breeze starting to roll in.
The studio show (both pre-game and halftime) and any commercial from Raycom had the same choppiness. So I think the truck was fine, it was an issue in Raycom's studio.
Thank you very much for the link!!!
Thanks Phreak!
Didn't need it this week, as the Raycom site was streaming it about 5 seconds ahead of ESPN.
I saw all the trouble other people were having, but for some reason my stream was really clear from Raycom, and I think I only had it drop once the entire game.
I was streaming through Charter internet, in Kingsport.
Thanks, this came in handy. For some reason our Raycom affiliate is the local Fox channel and they decided to show the Yankees/BoSocks game instead.
