Might have to trot out my vintage "O'S" license plate from 1983. Back then vanity plates were a new deal - had to put the apostrophe in with a dab of paint.
I've lost track of pro sports, but I couldn't help but feel a little nostalgic seeing this about my once beloved O's.
Lots of summer afternoons were spent in front of the tube listening to:
"Take your shoes off, put your feet up
Come on and meet up
With the Baltimore Birds
Soaring...scoring...
relax, relax....be a bird watcher"
That and the Black Label commercials:
Anyone?...No? Ah well, back to my rocker.

Black Label commercials.
That was not just last week, that's for sure.
I used to listen to them on the radio with my Pop pop when. I was little.
Grew up with them on the tube, 1 of 3 channels.
I think I saw more O games in black and white than color.

"1 of 3 channels."
Ha...and we had to get UP, out of the chair, to change it - with a pair of pliers since the knob was gone.
Just need to get this out here:

Anibal Sanchez had two clean innings today out of the 'pen for the Tigers. But if you take that away, their relievers have given up 11 runs over two games while recording 5 outs. Yowza.

Boom. Came back in the 8th of Game 2. Down by 3 the O's score 4 runs off of Detroit's bullpen. Britton slammed the door in the 9th. O's win. #Ain'tTheBeerCold #IBackTheBirds

Just got back from the game and the atmosphere was unreal. It may be the best baseball game I ever attended.
Detroit is sending the last 3 AL Cy Young winners at us. It feels like the Orioles just need to weather the storm, keep it close until they turn it over to the pen and then take their shots. The noise level when Joba came in was crazy.
Here's a pic after Markakis' home run:

Woo hoo!! Snowman in the 8th!!
Just got a ticket for tomorrow!
How were those seats? Looked kind of rainy from what little I saw of the game.
Rainy? For the Friday game? No, the weather was great. Sunny at times, cloudy at times.
Seats were great. 10 rows off field just past 1st base.
YESSSSSS
12-3, game over!
1-0 O's; 1st win vs Detroit @ The Yard this year in dramatic fashion.
Bullpen & hitting, sweet!
#WeWontStop!
Let's go O's! #IBackTheBirds #WeWontStop
Also, that Detroit bullpen, though....yikes......
So...don't beat Detroit all year, and get them for the opening draw? Great...
It's been like 5 months since they're played. Might as well have been last season.
Agree. The Orioles were barely playing .500 ball in April/May. Totally different team since June 1.
Let's Go Birds!!

Thank you, that is one fine rifle he's got there.
Appreciate the firearm pic.
yea hon!
Game 2 is in the books! Let's go O's!
I have a feeling that David Price pitches 9 innings on Sunday, no matter what.
The Detroit bullpen has given up more runs in the past 2 games than UVA had fans at their spring game.
Joba Chamberlain recorded more outs last night than UVA had fans at their spring game.

Yeah, that's pretty awful. When I saw Soria was coming in, I actually thought to myself, "we're going to win this game."
Need we inflate the numbers?

Ugh I want to be there so bad
Man I love that place. I really wish I could be a part of it.
SWEEP!
That is all.
