Not being well versed in college rules. I and then fellow HOKIES I watched the game with today were surprised to see TJ Yates in his Falcons jersey on the UNC sideline with a headset on. Did anyone else notice this or have some insightful thoughts?

That's a UNC assistant, a "supervisor of morale," who wears a different jersey each week of a former UNC player in the NFL.

My father in law was convinced that was a woman, and refused to believe me otherwise. "What is that girl doing on the sidelines and why is she...calling plays? What is she doing"

I think TJ Yates would look exactly like that if he got really, really into the Allman Brothers
but thats the thing, what the hell was he doing? he's sending in signals, talking on the headset, is he making sure everybody's morale is up? i honestly dont understand.

Supervisor of morale? What a joke. Looks more like some former player needed a job after leaving school. So what does he do? Hang up motivational pictures on the wall in the locker room? Set up fruit punch and party hats in the locker room after games?

Yes I do know that. Last I saw, Yates was on the Falcons (not sure if he is still there or not). I was saying their morale guy could be another former player.
I believe he was third string QB for a while.
