I loved seeing Kendall reading to those kids. It's always nice to see our players engaged in good work in the community, and the sense of wonderment in that little boy's eyes when he asked Kendall if he was really a Hokie football player was just special. So many of our players are excellent representatives of our football program and our school and that makes me very proud, like when our seniors visited veterans in Roanoke, when Danny Coale went to the children's hospital in Charlottesville, and on and on.
The snippets of practice are fun, and the quotes from the coaches are nice, but seeing the impact these young men have on the people around them is just wonderful.

It was great seeing the players & coaches having fun at the facilities and doing community service. "Caring & respect" is the slogan over there, and the wins will take care of themselves.

When I met the Fullers at the Ohio State game, Mrs. Fuller said that one day recently Bud came up and asked for another Fuller. She said she was too old and none of her boys were ready for kids (Vinny is just starting law school now). Bud then said something along the lines of "with modern medicine, you and Mr. Fuller can make it happen."
Bud is already planning on getting a commitment from a Fifth Fuller somehow.

The part with Jonathan McLaughlin was my favorite. He was great. Taking a stroll through the facility and having on the spot interactions is always fun to see.
edit: Also glad that every time they showed Beamer they had "Winningest Active Head Coach" under his name. You've got advertise that.

Yup. I liked how JM ducks into the "Olympic Sports" Nutrition Bar for a smoothie. I have a hunch that a least 50% of that place's visitors are from the football team.

The fact that our University's account is now giving you credit publicly (to 51k followers) is incredible. Congrats on the success. Keep doing what you're doing!

Anyone else jealous that that little girl got a signed Kendall football? Anytime Kendall wants to read me a book and give me some signed swag, I'll clear my calendar.

Drink:
1. Someone says "sko" instead of "let's go."
2. A Fuller is mentioned or shown.
3. Adorable children are shown.
4. Jonathan McLaughlin wakes someone up.
EDIT: 5. Winningest active head coach in FBS

I didn't realize Beamer the Younger's title was "Associate Head Coach/ Running Backs Coach." Obviously I knew the RB coach part but what's with the Associate Head Coach title?

There was one game when CFB was unable to coach for medical reasons (something about his heart?) and Billy Hite, as "associate head coach," was acting head coach.

Yup, Frank had a heart attack, I believe after an ECU game of all things. Billy was HC the next week. I remember seeing him boasting that he's the only undefeated coach in D-1 history.

I don't believe he had a full-on heart attack. He was having chest pains after the game (against ECU, who doesn't?), and underwent a coronary angioplasty to help stave off a heart attack.

I had this one guy as my assistant, and he kept referring to himself as "Assistant Head Coach" and I had to keep explaining to him, "No, Dwight, you're 'Assistant to the Head Coach.'"

Larry, don't you have an offense to coach? I mean they seem to be a disaster since clearly VT's defense didn't do anything you're offense was just poorly coached, right?

Thanks Billdozer! Didn't have a chance to watch this when it aired. The next time somebody starts squawking about Beamer losing a step, somebody please throw this video back at them. Frank looks energetic and engaged.

That was nice to see. The practice stuff is great especially since we don't get to see it much. But I was proud to see the facilities, the upgrades since I graduate in 2000 are amazing, we're catching up to the elites. I think ESPN said Oregon has one of the best and I saw their All-access so I think we're getting there.

Me too, and I needed a new profile picture!

That was the big thing I noticed too. Everybody was having fun and looked like they really wanted to be there.
My favorite part by far was Buds interview about the Fuller brothers.
When I met the Fullers at the Ohio State game, Mrs. Fuller said that one day recently Bud came up and asked for another Fuller. She said she was too old and none of her boys were ready for kids (Vinny is just starting law school now). I want to leg this so bad, but, 38-0, bro!

Our facilities are awesome! Now I'm craving a strawberry banana smoothie.

Umm its the Olympic Sports Nutrition OASIS. Get it right or pay the price!
No Tweedy! It's whip!
excellent, but i miss the "Tweedy its WHIP!!!"
Anyone else notice that Frank can rock the pink sweater exceptionally well?
FRANK <3s BOOBIES!
Did you ever doubt that Frank is a boobie man?
Thank you. Been working 10 hour days all this week. Made my morning listening to the video. Go Hokies.

I hope this is how the key play staff feel every morning

But would you recognize that he is the REAL Kendall Fuller, the REAL football player?!?!

You win! This is me...
I think it's hilarious when the little kid goes "Are you a REAL football player?!"
CFB + GRANDKIDS
I didn't realize Beamer the Younger's title was "Associate Head Coach/ Running Backs Coach." Obviously I knew the RB coach part but what's with the Associate Head Coach title?
Been that way since he was hired, I believe we discussed it here and it really means nothing.

First time seeing the moderator tag. Congrats guitarman and what a good idea Joe!
EDIT: Why say anything if there isn't a GIF that says it too?

Ah... I see what you did there.

Agree with you on that. He's definitely everywhere and fully engaged. Leg!
I think the words you were looking for were "Fully Dipped."
I'll let this one slide, but that's kind of a major typo.
I legged you for parallel thinking. Yours is funnier.
You're right. My comment wasn't worthy...
Leg!
I would say he's......fully dipped.

Loved the part where little Beamer goes straight for his granddad's whistle. VT coach 2040?
I was just about to comment on that. It's definitely in the genes.
in other news, the foundation for the new practice facility is up...its quite large
At one point I kept hearing Outkast's "The Whole World" in the background. That song came out while I was a freshman.
Great action. I'm wondering who was wearing some of those numbers though (17 - not with the QBs - and 28).
Thanks for the vid, Dozer. I kept missing it on TV.
I was also excited to hear my favorite Outkast song.
Personally, this is one of my fav's. The rhymes after the break are sick.

Also heard "Juicy" which is by far my favorite Notorious B.I.G. song
"Virginia Tech defeated North Carolina 34-17"
- ESPNU
Words to live by....
This vid continued to remind me how young this team is. Basically everyone they talked to was a sophomore or younger.
