Comments
Worilds has all but played himself out of a contract this year. He's not gonna be in Pittsburgh next year.
I don't quite understand, does that mean he's doing well or poorly?
Very poorly. He hasn't been good at all on the pass rush, and he was supposed to be the next great OLB. Granted, nobody on that defense has been good this year, but Worilds isn't worth his franchise tag and probably is gone after this year.
As Russel Wilson trotted off the field I thought I saw a familiar face. I checked into it and sure enough Nick Sorensen is assistant special teams coach in Seattle. Good for him, he's made a pretty good life in the NFL it would seem.
Does that mean I need to add HOKIES who are coaching in the pros to my HOKIES in the NFL,CFL,AFL list?
Sure, why not.
So, because CBS sucks and doesn't want to put the Ravens on in Richmond...did Tyrod get any playing time? I have Flacco on my fantasy bench (Peyton is my starter), and noticed that he stopped gaining points, but the Ravens score kept going up.
And it seemed like there were a few decent shots and discussion about LT.
Flacco still sucks! *ducks and hides*
He did, but 0 pass attempts.
Applicable in all situations
How would you blindside a guy in the friggin chest? Was the dude's helmet on backwards? Was it really just a nasty block in the back? (I don't think Tone is that stupid). Did anyone actually see this play?
Apparently the guy was trailing the play and not paying attention.
Anyone is fighting for playing time so, he took what he could get and executed a crushing block to this guy. Apparently, if the player is trailing the play, he's not fair game.
In my book, if he's on the field his head should be in the game.
Is there video of this?
Actually, I know how to Google. Found a vine of it here:
http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2014-10-10/antone-exum-illegal-bli...
Not a fineable offense, in my opinion. Pursuer ducked a bit and Antone incidentally hit him a little high.
THAT carries a $22k fine? I thought that was just called "playing football." I'm all for player safety, but I really don't understand why that hit was against any sort of rule.
Isn't that nearly a game check for him?
I think it's more like 2-3 game checks.
Wow...that's just pathetic that he's getting a fine for it. He blocks a guy that is still involved in the play and gets fined for it? Maybe the guy he blocked was a QB...it's the only way it makes sense.
That's ridiculous that gets a fine, and a particularly hefty one. He may have been a "trailing" player, but you can't tell me if Exum didn't hit him, he doesn't tackle the return man. I'm also failing to see how it was a "blindsiding" considering the guy was looking in the direction from which Exum was coming.
