#Rivals100 #Michigan DB commit Garrett Taylor tells me he will take official visits to #VT for the #Miami game & #PSU for the #MSU game— Adam Friedman (@RivalsFriedman) October 13, 2014
The Richmond (St. Christopher's School) stud committed to Michigan at the end of March, but is keeping his options open given the state of affairs in Ann Arbor.

Are there any other recruits that will be on officials then too?
something was done here...
I don't get it... play on words for "a drop in the bucket" like dropping the bucket. Some phrase like "well that's good". Is it a southern thing? I am from Ohio.
I think it's...
well, Well, WELL!
*hangs head in shame and quietly exits room*
i didnt get it either bro
I laughed WAY too hard at this one once you guys explained what was going on
Leg for your admission and not letting me hang out there by myself
Wells. They'll get after you.
Well, well, well....
i can hear my mother..every time someone says this...she says.."that's a deep subject for such a shallow mind."
That is all!
From VA. Plays DB. Not going to VT? something is not right here....
Not going to VT yet.
So we have a chance to potentially flip Taylor and Tolliver, on top of the recruiting class that appears to be shaping up?
I like the interest we are getting from a broad range of recruits now. We have legitimate interest from recruits that 2-3 years ago would not be giving us a look I feel like.
The last few "Taylors" worked out quite well for us... Ben, Tyrod, Bruce...
Let's just take #ALLOFTHETAYLORS
Just had to do it.
Don't joke... One of the best times I had at Tech was dancing on the floor of Cassell with Terry after we beat UConn back in, what 2003?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I'll never forget the hits on back-to-back plays where Ben laid out Temple players in 1999.
Lets hope for a Levonta next year
This is a very positive development.
So this made me remember a dream I had last night. We were playing Michigan with this prick at their helm and we were destroying them 73-0 before the half.
Hey, a guy can dream, right?
I had a horrible dream a couple years back we actually lost to this prick.
Eating all those turkey legs before bed will get after ya
So who do you think is more likely to flip Tolliver or Taylor? Tech has been on Tolliver's radar longer (as far as we know) , but Taylor is verbally committed to a much less stable coaching situation, and he's from Virginia...
Maybe the two are more intertwined than that........if I'm Les Miles and Michigan offers again, it might be time to seriously think about it. I know LSU is an animal, but their expectations are nuts and in the SEC West, making the Final Four will be tough. Easier at Michigan? Maybe.....
To answer your question, I'm a pessimist on these things. I'd say we have a 2% chance of landing Tolliver and a 1% chance of landing Taylor. So, Tolliver, slightly and irrelevantly.
Eh, I say we have a 10-15% chance with Toliver and it probably depends on what happens in Michigan with Taylor but right now I think we have around a 5% chance.
Benjamin Disraeli approves of your use of statistics.
So you're saying VT could get both?
With zero inside knowledge I would think we would have a better chance with Taylor. He is from VA, michigan appears to be imploding, and tech has a better recent history with DBs to the NFL. And its fricking cold ass snobby meatchicken! Conversely, tolliver is from the south, LSU has a great tradition and recent star DBs to the NFL.
Speaking of official visits. I saw last night that Josh Sweat has rescheduled his official visits. I find it very encouraging that he chose to visit VT last and just a month before he is scheduled to announce. Fingers crossed. If we can get any of the guys referenced above to flip to the good guys and we got Sweat, our defense would be stacked for years to come.
Just saw that Garrett Taylor tweeted he has committed to Penn State. Had a ton of crystal balls for LSU recently. Would of LOVED to have him.
Sorry I'm on my phone so can't embed.
He would have been a really nice addition for sure. Mook the nuke he's our man!
James Franklin was such a great hire by Penn State.
