Our own Joseph T.K.P. Lanza will be on ESPN Blacksburg today with me at 4:15 to help preview the Pitt game. If you have any questions (about Tech/Pitt, just Tech or really anything else) post them here and I'll try my hardest to get them all on air.
If you're in the area you can listen in on FM 94.1/AM 1430, or if you're abroad you can tune in here

How are Malleck and Cline doing physically? Only Bucky seems to have a role right now.
This is a great question that no one but the coaching staff has an answer to.
Although, we do know that Cline is out for tonight's game.
Which member of TKP staff would be most useful on the 2014 Hokies team?
Also, why do you like the inferior dessert? #TEAMPIE
With the seasons turning, and the weather continually getting colder, trending towards the freezing point, how worried should we be about the Athletic Department still being fully dipped, and in danger of eventually freezing in place?
More specifically, what is the freezing point of dork magic dipping sauce in degrees K?
engineering pet peeve so bear with me.
it's not degrees K. it's just K. for example:
incorrect - "dang! that chick was cold. like 0 degrees K cold."
correct - "dang! that chick was cold. like 0 K cold."
carry on.
Wow, that chick would be cold. Ive only met girls that are 273 K cold
Beer cool????
Chances of landing a date with her? Absolute zero.
I'll see myself out.
i was wondering if someone would get it. well done sir.
My friend's in Materials; he'd be very upset with me. Bill Nye was wrong in all those damn videos! Thanks for setting me straight lol
Sorry for the general question, but I think I've read / heard everything under the sun with regard to the critical Pitt game.
Should we be excited that the best looking and most productive players thus far at RB / WR 1&2 are all true freshman (and TE - redshirt freshman), or is this simply highlighting the weakness of the more senior players? Said differently, we all want to win every week, but I more than content to be rebuilding and an okay team today with the potential to give the playoffs a run next year or the year following (assuming we can identify a replacement for Brewer) - how good do you think this team can be down the road?
Enjoyed the segment!
Is this game going to have a final score of 9-6?
What's the latest on Drew Harris?
This one made me lol especially given all our injuries at rb right meow
Is it too late for Jerome Wright to "un-transfer"
he's back with the team check this>>>
FWIW, Frank said yesterday on the Tim Brando Show that they would like to redshirt him, BUT he traveled to Pittsburgh with the team and will suit up tonight. The reason Frank gave was that they very well might need him, "in case a bomb goes off." No joke.
It makes sense given the injuries the team has sustained through six games. The question is what type of shape he is in, though I would have to imagine any usage of him (in an emergency) would be minimal.
If the #JoelTrain is stopped because Frank wants to run damn Jerome Wright, there will be a lot of drunk and angry posts coming from one member of the TKP Staff.
Jerome Wright pulled a hammy prepping for the game.
Oh, I know. I still stand by what I said.
Come Friday, Shane will have to do a lot of apologizing if he deprives #HokieNation that opportunity to see Brian do this:

for a minute there I was like whose Brian but then Ruxin filled me in!
Jerome Wright had 7 carries for 27 yards in the Sun Bowl...
Thats 3.86 yards per carry.
Isn't that better than JC Coleman's yards per carry?
How about Chris Mangus un-transferring? I would feel so much better if he was still on the team.
Guglielmo Marconi: Invents radio

Brian Marcolini: Radio guy/gentleman of leisure
Coincidence?
Ive never scene them together.. Pretty obvious IMO
Brian, can you ask JD to not make any picks on anymore of our games this season? Every time he says "We're gonna win" it scares the crap out of me.
Thanks.
Line of Wyatt Tellers vs a line of gorillas. Who ya' got?
Do you two think that next Thursday's Miami game sells out, and if not what are the main reasons it won't? Is it as simple as the team not winning as much or is there a deeper issue within the fan base?
thusday night games are harder for parents with kids to make ect ect.. Also the traffic jam leaving will be epic!!!!!!!!!!!
Not really a question, but I just want to see a challenge between Macolini and Lanza... who can drop the most recruiticorn & current player name puns throughout the entire segment.
Best (worst?) drinking game ever.
Epic.
EDIT: Meant to reply to Alum07
Why is it that JC has gotten more carries than Joel Caleb?
Who on our current roster not named Fuller has the best chance at being an All-American NEXT season?
What team would you rather play every year, Pitt or ECU?
The number after two, what is it?
Best topping for a sandwich?
I will set a series of over/unders. Whatcha got?
1. Joel Caleb rushing yards at 75 and O/U on his carries at 20.
2. Number of sacks by Dadi + Ekannibal set at 4.
3. Number of Pitt defenders leveled by Sam Rogers set at 3.
1. Under for yards, over for carries (hoping I'm wrong)
2. Gonna say under again. Just feel that nothing could be worse for Pitt than Savage dropping back last year, thinking they will try to pound the rock and throw quick hitters to the outside to keep their Qb upright
3. Waaaaaay to low. He might level 3 Pitt defenders coming onto the field for warmups. In Rogers we trust.
First time, long time.
Depending on the metric you prefer, the VT offense is ranked somewhere in the 70's or 80's nationally. Is that acceptable improvement at this stage? What are reasonable expectations for the VT offense tonight in terms of yards and points?
Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.
does the KP media staff have access to food in the stadiums and if so let us know how good it is? Nothing beats a good turkey leg.
From my experience in the Lane press box six years ago, I can tell you that the food for big games (i.e. Thursday night or games vs. ranked teams) was pretty solid (bbqbbqbbqbbqbbq). During non-big games (W&M, WMU, etc.) it was pretty meh (I remember chili dogs).
Wouldn't surprise me if it improved since then.
I'm curious as to how the players get to Pittsburgh for the game, and when they leave. Do they ride the bus, or fly?
they flew yesterday evening on Miami Air of all things.
I think its different for each game. I can't believe Pittsburgh is further away than Ohio State. But usually the photo galleries after the game posted on hokie sports have some pictures related to some of the travel
No so much a question for you guys as a question for the next time anyone on the staff is in an interview situation with Coach Loeffler:
As a Michigan Alum and VT coach, isn't it obvious to you that Danny Coal caught the ball?
Probably would have been a better question for the introductory press conference a year and a half ago, but TKP didn't have media credentials at that time and I didn't think of it until a couple days ago.
