There are too many Ranked vs Ranked conference games already that day, plus World's Largest Cocktail Party is already set for 3:30 despite UF struggling, and both Notre Dame and Ohio State already have games under the lights that night. Other than those 3 games, I count 6 other matches that will dominate the TV. Auburn v. Ole Miss, Oregon v. Stanford, TCU v West Virginia, Utah v ASU, and Arizona v UCLA.

EDIT: Just saw some of the game times for the games I mentioned. Auburn v. Ole MIss at 7 or 7:15 on ESPN or ESPN2, Oregon v Stanford at 7:30 on FOX, Arizona v UCLA at 10:30 on ESPN, Utah v ASU at 11 on FS1, and TCU v WVU was given the 6-day window. So lots of solid evening games with mid-day being rather boring. UGA v UF might be the most interesting game on at that time other than UVA v GT

I have to hurry back to my apartment after the Tech game because it's looking like I'm going to have a date with my couch that afternoon. The game slate that weekend is making me giddy already.

GIVE IT TO ME ROSCOE!

Assuming Allburn and Ole Mississippi will get the primetime if they both win this upcoming weekend...

Could Gameday visit The Grove for the second time this year?

NC State at Syracuse, RSN, 3 p.m.

Yep, keep winning and those afternoon games will flood in

I hate the gametimes too, but I'd rather be on ACC Network (nationally televised) than on Raycom. Same with the nooners, sure they suck but at least we're on ESPN or ESPNU when we play those games. That's better than playing at 7:30 on a station that gets a third of the viewership.

Rip his freaking head off!

I don't give 2 craps about viewership numbers as long as there's an option for us to watch the game.

Seriously, what does viewership get you? More money? Nope, thats built into the contracts. Better recruits? Nope, cause if that was the case, UNC and Miami would never get a good player. A better bowl slot? Who cares about the bowl positioning anymore when anything outside of the playoff is essentially the new NIT of football.

I care about game times, especially in this age where every game can be found online through either ESPN or theACC.org. I don't care who watches us play as long as we're not stuck in a season long chain link of pre-1:00 games, which we have been for the past 2 seasons now. I'm getting real tired of 8am tailgates where you barely have enough time to wake up before walking to the stadium.

I swear - the UVA game better be at 11:00pm to make up for all of this noon and noon-30 crap.

Umm...ACC Network is Raycom.

And I thought I'd heard Tim Brant say silly things like "some guys do" and "Bucky Rogers" and "Gain of Two" (on a four yard loss) for the last time this year!

Ugh. Split network means I won't get the game in Florida... I'll get Miami. Blah.

Really curious what game I will get here in Minnesota.

Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. the Calgary Stampeders would be my guess...

Rough riders....best 75 cent investment ever.

Wooo Primetime in Europe!!!

My thoughts exactly. These Thursday night games are rough over here. Still love em though.

At this point I think I would be more mad if they didn't play at noon.

Leonard. Duh.

So if it's a split network game, how do they determine who sees what? Is there a coverage map that I can't find?

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

It's probably got two affiliate lists. I usually get them by going to the schedule part of the ACC website. It's not very user friendly, though.

I just went to check, and no, it's not user friendly at all. Reminds me of TheSabre.

I think they've somehow managed to program it to be effective if you live within 30 miles of the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill metro, but not anywhere else.

If you live in Raleigh, there are still places to go watch the games every weekend (Carolina Ale House on Creekside Dr)

Since I'm moving from Blacksburg to Pensacola the day after, I'm entirely okay with a noon game. Means I get a nap before my last trip downtown for a long while.

AOCS?

Dangit, and that's the one game I get to go to this year. I was hoping for a 3pm slot.

fuck man, I was really hoping that this was at least a 3 pm start. Oh well, 30 extra minutes to do whatever you do on your Saturday mornings....

Well for my only trip to Lane this season its kind of a bummer its gonna be a nooner. BUT looking on the bright side I should get home between 7-9pm.
