This was expected to occur in this order. Brandon had to be gone so that the new AD could release Hoke and hire his own guy.

Born and raised in Michigan; went to college there as well (Division II Ferris State). First head coaching gig was at Central Michigan. He may be one of the most realistic candidates for the gig (can't see Miles or Harbaugh taking it).
