Wow! This is huge for us, especially since insiders are saying Fred Johnson (another of our OLine commits) might be wavering given some recent in-state/SEC offers. It seems like a decade ago since our last 4-star OLine commit!

Had a feeling this was coming. South Carolina's bagman is Darius Rucker and he's not very good. Most of the recruits I've talked to try really hard to stay under Rucker's radar, because the only thing he gives out is cases of Grizzly long cut.

This is some illuminating info. If Darius is just posing as a SC bagman and secretly trying to direct recruits to Beamer, his tactics make a lot more sense...I may have seriously underestimated him.
