OK, so the Hokies are, ehh, struggling. Normally, I calm myself reveling in UVA's misery, a team and fan base that consistently come through for me, year after year...kinda like living within walking distance to an ABC store. Always there when you need it.
Well then, having established myself as a petty, bitter and vindictive man, I found a delicious formula for SEC ruin this morning that I would like to share.
How does an SEC with ALL teams having at least 2 losses sound? And what if Mizzou is also conference champion? For me, that cures what ails ya.
OK, maybe Mizzou as champion is dicey, but they sure have the inside edge on the East now. Get to the game, and who knows?
As for the 2 loss part:
Say, Georgia beats Auburn - that's 2 losses for Auburn
Say, Auburn beats Bama - that's 2 losses for Bama
Mississippi St? Could lose to Ole Miss and Bama
That's at least 2 for all of them. And that's mayhem.
Followed by the sweet music of weeping and wailing from Dixie to Bristol.

They'll still put at least two of them in the playoff and then the discussion on ESPN will be that the playoff needs to expand so that more SEC teams can get in.
They were talking on the radio this morning that the playoff people are putting 1 loss Auburn above FSU already.
Defending undefeated national champion, and still undefeated, and having beaten Auburn the last time they met....

Yeah. Makes perfect sense.
They talk to fill up the time slot but we both know that there is ZERO chance that actually happens.
Looking back on the dream...reality is now even better. Go Auburn!
Seriously, though...OK not really...
Name the SEC team that will replace Miss St. in the top 4 this week, and your ridiculous reasons why.
UGA because obviously they are better than any ACC team. They only got beat by a lucky FG from GT.
It's not their fault they aren't going to the SEC championship, that's the fault of the winner of the Mississippi game.
I think you mean Missouri.
Obviously Kentucky, they almost beat Louisville, who almost beat FSU.. and since FSU is 3rd, that must mean Kentucky is 4th.
MiZzou - so they can hype the SEspnC championship game, though it will be interesting to hear the cover stories on why.
I hope Saban tries another really long FG.
Go Aubrun, then go Mizzou.
Living in Alabama, it would be wonderful if everyone loses their collective minds if Alabama loses and the $EC gets zero teams in the championship.
So do I. I want nothing more in this world for Auburn to win this game and send the SEspnC into a special kind of hell.
Is it just me, or did the ACC sweep the rivalry games with the SEC today?
That's right.
This year they have to change the conference name to SeACC
Yep, strong day for the ACC. #noSEC teamsintheCFBplayoffs
ACC was 4-0 vs SEC today. I live in SEC country (Nashville), so I take great joy in this. I've already taken it to FB and all my SEC friends are proclaiming the ACC only beat the "SEC bottom dwellers". Umm, Georgia was top 10 today.
Doesn't the SEC play the toughest schedule week in and week out.
Guess what story isn't on the front page of ESPN? 4-0 and it's not happening.
Did anybody else just see that 68 yd pass from Auburn?
Keeeereist!
You thinking we need to go back to Auburn and exchange a broken OC for a replacement model? They have one left on the shelf.
Lol
ACC ACC ACC
I am getting tired of hearing the ESPN guys whining about " oh my, just think about the end of the universe if there are no SEC teams in the Playoff."
Slive is on the phone with referees, Auburn admin anyone he can think of. He can't have the SEC left out.
