Real question, is he ready to be the most popular man on campus as the backup qb traditionally is? :)

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

A little off topic but:

Loeffler doesn't tail back his approach at all, even though he's shown more patience than people think, despite the offense's ups and downs.

"Hes always going to be Lefty," Byrn said. "But hes done a good job of being positive. And hes kind of been a guy that I see after the game and Im really upset and Im frustrated and everything, and hes a guy you wouldnt expect him to be able to calmly just analyze what happened. And he kind of does that.

"He kind of puts things in perspective and kind of calms the older guys down, and [shows] the younger guys that its not the end of the world and that there was enough on tape to learn from to where we shouldnt be panicking."

Good to hear, and just the attitude that the team needs after some bad losses.
