Head coach Frank Beamer, American flag bearer Michael Brewer (12) and fullback Sam Rogers (45) wait to take the field. [Michael Shroyer]
The Hokies were feeling good after Virginia Tech's road upset of the No. 21 Blue Devils, and deservedly so. Tech took to the locker room dance floor to celebrate snapping a frustrating three-game losing streak.
It has been GIFed for posterity's sake and joins many other fantastic Frank Beamer dancing dot GIFs like Frank's Harlem Shake intro, his post-ACC Championship win dance and last year's road win over Georgia Tech dance.

Haha! I finally have seen a worst dancer than me!
FTFY
How did Gameday not use FB dancing in their segment about coaches that dance!
Surely he tops everyone but malzahn...that dance was glorious
What kind of words would they use to describe the FB dance?
mesmerizing, beautiful, haunting in its artistry.
Between this video and the preseason media day video of these guys having a dance off, CJ Reavis appears to be quite the character. There's been a lot of talk about the coaches "losing the locker room". Seeing this, I think these guys have stuck together and battled through some disappointments. It's nice to see these kids laughing and having fun, especially with Beams in the middle of it.
Shegog + Reavis taking over for Bonner and Kyshon next year could be fun.
Surprised that Shegog is your next man up. Frye (who is hurt) and Greene come back and have been ahead of Shegog are both back, and Fisher is in the mix as well. Shegog really struggled with tackling back in the spring.
I'm for anyone who causes game winning turnovers.
I'd love for Fisher to show back up but the silence about him has been deafening.
I'd also love for Garrett Taylor to be one of the starters.
That 'losing the locker room' mostly came from one jack ass that now spends all his time on twitter trying to be relevant.
Gotta love those keyboard warriors...

This team has certainly kept fighting. Losing sucks and there has been a lot of frustration, which is going to cause a lot of chatter about turmoil. However, losing the locker room typically leads to a lot of me first play and lack of effort. VT's struggles have not been due to lack of effort or team play. They've made lots of mistakes on both sides of the ball but the effort has been there and they've kept fighting all along.
No doubt that it's been a tough season. But the fight in the players is one thing I've appreciated all season.
Sure wasn't a pretty win, and a lot of the team's problems still exist. But it was a win and win to build upon.
Let's get 2 more then go to a bowl.
Go Hokies!
When ESPN runs out of room on the graphic to show all of your injuries, your freshmen make all the plays, and your RT is a converted DT who just transferred from a D-III school, and you still manage to beat a ranked opponent on the road, it can be as ugly as you want. I'll take it.
^^ this.
This team could easily be anywhere from 3-7 to 8-2 right now, and we would still be a team that doesn't reflect our record regardless of whether it was the good record or the bad one.....
Injuries have devastated ....again.
We are REALLY young.
Footballs have a funny way of bouncing unpredictably.
I see no quit in any player taking the field for us.
This is a GAME.....enjoy the win and don't stew over the season not playing out as perfectly as you wanted it to....trust me...there are worse things in life. If you don't believe me, and need some perspective, go find my post from 4/15 this year.
I love it! Very happy for the team and coach!
Amen brother. So happy for the entire team. I know this season has not gone the way they expected nor wanted. Fans are frustrated but just imagine how they feel. I have no doubt everyone on this team has busted their ass preparing each week with disappointing results on the scoreboard. Guaranteed they all worked harder than anyone in our fan base. We likely care just as much but we can't be on the field so we have no pressure when things don't go well. Hopefully the team is reenergized and finishes the season becoming bowl eligible and continuing their dominance over LOLUVA. Enjoy the day Hokies!
Also very happy for JC. Glad to see several determined runs. You could see all the extra off season work in the weight room paying off!
Crazy world it is when beating Duke (granted they are a whole different team and program from a decade ago) in Football is an upset now, but I'll take it!
How insane would this be - unranked VT football and basketball beating ranked Duke in the same season?
Getting ahead of myself, I know. But man would that be cool.
Post-game Blues will bedevil you.
That's a happy post-game locker room, and happy post-game locker rooms make me happy.
I have no reason to believe that our O is going to get going in the next 2 games.
I at least have reason to believe that our D will get our of their own heads in the next 2 games (IBWT).
And against WF & UVA, a good D and a team that is letting go of the disappointment the year has become and just playing loose may just be enough for a happy end to a troubled season.
Who knows? We aren't playing lights out, but maybe we are learning to win the close ones. We just won, despite mistakes that have doomed us in earlier games.
Maybe the light stays on for JCC. Maybe Hansen keeps improving at RT like he did yesterday after a disastrous start. Maybe we drop 42 on WF, and another 38 on UVA, and close out a strong Recruiting season.
When Frank Beamer dances, all things are possible.
So is Cam Phillips teaching Beamer to dance? Or is Cam copying Beamer's dance?
It looks to me like Beamer copied the monkey, a la Johnny Bravo.
Frank "Johnny Bravo" Beamer.
I dig it.
No doubt about it he was doing the Cool Jerk a la Home Alone 2 http://youtu.be/m2-AjlBnhoY
Found this amusing:
I won't lie, I would laugh pretty hard if the Noles lose to UF
That'd be glorious. The only thing standing between them and a playoff berth right now is a team they'll likely roll in the ACCCG (don't really matter who wins the Coastal at this point) and a team that just fired their head coach. I'd laugh quite a bit if they managed to screw this up.
Any one have the highlights of the game? Like I said in another thread, I had to miss it and I really want to see the highlights.
Extremely brief highlights from ESPN here , not much there though
If nothing else you could go to ESPN and watch the replay of the game and just skip to the good parts (it marks the big plays on the bottom so you can skip to each big play)
marshall at 2:03. lol.
How about the uniforms? Love the maroon pants with white jerseys
Those have always been one of my favorite combos.
Well, Frank's moves are better than Meyer's.
Note: I dance like Meyer.
So your signature move is "The Pizza?"
My signature is a combo of the lawnmower, the running man, and the q-tip. Think Kevin James in "Hitch" but much much worse. Oh and I'm skinnier so much less funny.
i'm slightly concerned about the celebrations, dont want us to overlook Wake Forest
So you said, in the other thread.
