But perfect or imperfect, it was a win, against a ranked team on the road no less, and as the Hokies have learned this year, you don't take those for granted. I see a lot of nonsense about how the fact that Saturday's win was considered an upset -- a once unheard of thing against Duke in football -- is something to be ashamed of. This ain't the same Duke. That was a good win against a good team, one that could still win its second straight division title. If you can't enjoy that, then you're just trying to find things to complain about.
Also, with all these injuries, it really is a good thing VT gave 6+ HBs serious consideration for playing time before the season started.

What is going on with the Roanoke Times. Andy is now behind a pay wall. And the pricing is ridiculous.
30 days of 7 day dely and digital access. $15.47.
30 days of digital access only $17.
I live in PA and don't want to subscribe to the print paper. The only things I would read are Andy's columns.
I am going to miss your columns Andy. I guess TKP will be my only source for VT info.

Evidently reading all of Andy's columns put me over the limit. I am a little slow; but I did get the clue.
