You know what, we won a game. I don't give a damn how ugly it was, we won a damn game and with a win next week we're going to a bowl. We just beat the ranked leader of our division in their house. Hells yeah.
As an aside, major major props to Duke. I have been to every VT game in Durham since we joined the ACC and by far that was the most full I've ever seen that stadium, and it wasn't because we took it over. The fans were legitimately 80/20 Duke. They brought it this week, and they absolutely deserve credit for it. Cutcliffe is quite literally doing the impossible in Durham, and its kinda cool to see.

Well said. Cutcliffe is an awesome coach who deserves nothing but praise. His team lacks serious athleticism, but he's completely turned around a laughing stock of a program. Though I am not a fan of the Blue Devils basketball team simply due to jealousy, I wish Cutcliffe and his football program nothing but the best, aside from whenever they play Maroon and Orange. Class act.

I'm glad we won the battle but with us out of the equation I'd absolutely love to see Duke win the ACC this year. Cutcliffe is a class act and what he's done there is amazing and I'd love to see him knock the wheels off of the corrupt bus that comes from Tallahassee.

I've been to every game in Wallace Wade since Tech joined the ACC as well, and have to agree with you. What Cutcliffe has done with Duke is close to the impossible. Although the place still wasn't packed, there was still a lot more people than I ever remember there being before. Having been to the UNC Tech game as well I can confirm that Wallace Wade put Kenan to shame. Well even more shame...

Someone needs to look into the back to back sacks (on us, unfortunately) by the goal line in the 4th quarter...there was one camera shot on the 2nd sack (i think) where it shows Wyatt block his guy initially, then break off, get to Mach 1 in 1.5 seconds, and then totally layout another DE. I mean...that guy is still eating pancakes this morning.
