"First off, I have to thank the Lord for blessing me with the ability to play football," Taylor said. "I also have to thank my parents, my family, the coaches, my teammates and all of the Virginia Tech fans. It's an honor to be recognized as the ACC's Player of the Year and to see all of my hard work pay off.
"I'm more proud, though, of how this team responded from an 0-2 start, but now we have finish things off Saturday in Charlotte against a tough Florida State team."
He didn't throw or run for the most yards or touchdowns, but he did kick the most ass. Our sincere congratulations to Laser Eyes!

but he DID throw and run for the most yards
It was pretty close, but...
1 Russell Wilson 305.8
2 T.J. Yates 261.3
3 Sean Renfree 257.0
4 Tyrod Taylor 239.3
The only statistic that really matters is 8-0 in the ACC.
He is #1
In pass effciency. Which includes #1 in yards per completion, TD percentage, and INT percentage.
#2 QB rushing yards per game. (Josh Nesbit #1 in a run option offense)
#1 (tied with Nesbit) in fewest ints.
#1 QB rush yards/attempt.
Taking care of the ball and efficiently running the offense led to wins.
#1 in wins as a starter is the biggest stat by far.
