Even though the win was over my hometown Dayton Flyers, which usually recruit my high school heavily, this is great news! Keep it going ladies!
I was at the volleyball game wearing my VT gear on the UVA season ticket holder side (I got invited by a volleyball coach). It was a fantastic match, and much fun was had.
Solid win? That was a shellacking.
The Ladies will play Georgetown in the second round on Friday 11/21/2014 at 430PM. The game will be at Penn State, the #2 seed in Tech's bracket. Georgetown advanced on Penalty Kicks after a 0-0 2OT tie with the Cousins.
The ACC surprisingly only place six teams this season in NCAA Tournament, and Florida State was the only team that received a #1 Seed. UVA and UNC were both #2 Seeds.
I know things change over the course of the season but we did beat Georgetown 6-1 earlier this season, hopefully we see a repeat performance
I'd like to go, but it's like a few thousand feet away and it's like 20 degrees outside for an average of about 1/100th degree per mile.
