Last time we have to worry about these affiliates for a while. At least we're not tossed down onto ESPN3 only.

Remember your headband.
For the love of Pete, put the headband on! Correctly!
Guess this means breaking out low-def beer (Miller Lite) for a low-def transmission.
Oh, no. Say it isn't so.
A true tragedy...
To be fair, my birthday is the night before, and probably will venture into some big IPA's. So the Lite will just be hair of the dog to get things kick started for Saturday night, when I think we're breaking out an '08 bottle of 120 minute and '05 Sam Adams Triple Bock. Both over 15-20% by now...
I had an 07 bottle of 120 minute a few weeks ago. It was.....different....but good. Be prepared for raisins. I hope you like raisins.
We started the tailgate for Duke last year with an '08 bottle of 120. And yes, the raisins were out in full force. I think the Raison d' Etre kind of evolved from a failed attempt at the 120. Like the hop conveyor breaking or something... Similar taste notes, just much more abv in the 120, especially after 5 years.
Interesting thought on the taste profile there.
the raisin would be a flavor I would expect to come out more in a bottle aged beer.
The ABV on the 120 won't go up any more after bottling however.
It's difficult enough to get yeast to ferment that high, it won't do it under the adverse conditions found in the bottle.
Have these to work on too....

Lol, The Dude Imbibes.
I have never heard of that before.
Triple C brewing. 9.5 Imperial Milk Stout. Of course.
Center of the Universe in Ashland has El Duderino and The Dude (barrel-aged Duderino)
I wish it was on ESPN3, at least it comes in somewhere between HD and SD. The channel this will be on in Cincy looks like clips you see from the 60s.
The ACC broadcast is so bad, they either zoom in so far that you can't get any perspective of on field location or they miss the beginning of plays because they are too busy showing some irrelevant graphic. I made the mistake of blurting out in frustration during the last broadcast "who is the producer for this crap, Joe Raycom's teenage daughter?"
My wife was not ammused and called me on my sexist comment. Wish it was easy to synch Roth's radio call with the direct tv delayed safelite signal, have not found an easy way to deal with the TV delay.
You joke about potential nepotism, but guess who is Raycom Sports' "Senior Director, New Media and Business Development". That's right, Chad Swofford, son of ACC Commissioner John Swofford. Definitely no nepotism involved in a company with less than 50 employees retaining broadcasting rights (second-tier, I think) of football and basketball games of a Power 5 conference (sarc).
I know.

This is them during kickoffs:
And them on 3rd downs:

You nailed it! And made my laugh out loud at work. My son was yelling at the tv last time "zoom out, zoom out" had to remind him that they couldn't hear him. But even their crap broadcast is better than nothing, I spent the 80's and 90's listening on the radio and catching a couple of highlights on the Sunday morning tv show.
If I had a dollar for every pixel they use in ACCN broadcasts.... well, I'd still be a broke a-hole
There are actually MORE people at UVA's Spring game than pixels used in the ACCN broadcast.
The pixel density of ACCN broadcasts is the only time in recorded history where mankind has been able to divide by zero
... and you just made my computer crash with that math.
Guess it's not a common core computer.
