Watching. Duke has a fumble already. But otherwise as expected.
Plan on flipping between WVU/K State and the Duke/UNC game.. WVU is down 10, so all is well so far
It almost looks like a football stadium tonight.
That's a rarity for the Dukie's, but the attendance wasn't that poor for the tech game either. That probably had something to do with at least 6,000 Hokies showing up though...
So between two schools 25 miles apart they can almost fill 33,000 seats.

I am not rooting for North Carolina, but I think FSU-Georgia Tech would be a better game.
But it would seriously hurt the ACCCG - BofA Stadium will be empty. GT doesn't travel and no one likes watching them either in person or on TV for that matter. Duke still had the feel good story about them coming into this game.

Duke keeps making mistakes something that they have been good at not doing all year. I don't think they have the firepower to get back into this game. The way duke wins games is by taking care of the football and playing smart. They are not going to win a first to 50 game. Execption: when they played Texas a&m but they still lost.

Williams is trying his best to give keep Duke in this game. I am rooting for UNC because (I think) that puts GT in the ACC championship game and I think they have a shot at beating FSU. Duke has none.

For me, Duke is only team in the Coastal that I can tolerate, if we can't win it. And once they become a steady competitor, then I'll hate them, too. And I just can't stand the idea of Paul Johnson winning the ACCCG.

What the time between ACC and first playoff? Bowl wouldn't be an issue.
Jan 1st then 12th for championship game.
Dec 6th for ACC championship game. So 3 weeks between. Plenty of time to transistion.
Will end up being less than 2 weeks of pratice, I think spending time getting ready for an offense they hardly ever see then transition to a more traditional offense will hurt them.

Two of the most recognizable brands in college sports looking like MAC teams on national TV trying to look hip (ah, if only chrome helmets and black unis weren't so...yesterday). Foolish for UNC, Duke, and the ACC.

For the record, that UNC heel logo is everywhere in North Carolina. Literally everywhere. And the Duke uniform is one of their standard looks this year, and the same one they wore against us when they looked very much like Duke.
Reading your comments about this kind of thing, I get the feeling you just plain don't like change. I'm guessing you would like it if every team found out one home and one away uniform, with basic colors, and kept that look for eternity.
Fact of the matter is, down here (I live in Raleigh) the fact that UNC had that helmet created buzz. The fact that Duke went with an all black look in recent years, that had created buzz. People like change when it looks good, and these looks were good. And even moreso, they kept their brand identity.

The only reason I had to do a double take on the game last night about who was playing was because it was Duke playing a night game. Never did I think they would be good enough to get a showcase game at home on ESPN.

I don't like the chrome and every team is on the black bandwagon.
I'm not on the black bandwagon. I can see it some but, unless your team color is black, I'd rather see the team colors and some white, some black.
I prefer brown leather, I'm not so much into black motorcycles and cars. perhaps it's just not a color I like.
so it's safe to say we beat Duke twice in one week!
