Virginia Tech survived a scare and put Georgetown away thirty seconds into overtime Friday evening. It puts the Hokies into the Sweet 16 for the third time. Tech will face Penn State at 1 pm on Sunday to determine the next round. Hopefully the Lady Hokies come more ready to play than the football or basketball teams did today.

We won a thing!
It seems like women's sports are the hot thing for Hokies right now. Congrats to the soccer team, they are making us proud!
Also, I've admittedly not paid that much attention to Women's hoops in the last 2-3 years, but it does seem like Wolff is getting his kind of players now and is working his plan pretty well. At least for this season, there seem to be lots of positives. Kudos to him for his grind, and to the women for their hard work & dedication!

We actually won it last night, but yes, it was a great win for the team.

Volleyball also won on Senior Night in 3 sets over GT. That makes back to back 3 set wins for the volleyball squad and will close out the season on the road next weekend. There is an outside chance they can make the NCAAs, but it would take winning both next weekend and probably some help.
Ladies lose to Penn State 2-1 :(
In other news, football team jealous of soccer for the high scoring.
