Six Pick: Week Fourteen

It's rivalry week and that means it's the highest of highs and lowest of lows for many fan bases in the nation. If a 3-6 loss to a bottom 5 Power 5 conference foe felt bad, wait til we relinquish the cup. Already on edge, dreading this game, feels like an end of era in many, many respects.

I am prepping myself for the loss, but if they win ... it will remind me of a Parliament track, Maggot Brain:

• A Sonora Desert nooner, the day after Turkey Day. Feel the excitement. Anyone, anyone?
• UCLA controls their own destiny in the Pac12 south, however if the Bruins lose to Stanford the winner of this tilt faces the right to get spanked by Oregon in the PAC12CG

Pick: Arizona State, but I have not a clue.

If Frank doesn't have this determined look exiting the Tunnel, that's bad news for the Good guys

• Not sure we should be happy or sad that Whit got this primetime game for us. Either way enjoy the last few potential days of the streak, nothing AND no one lasts forever
• I'll game plan this job saving, bowl qualifying uva win right now. Stunt the DL, don't commit a turnover, and make a single field goal

Pick: VT. The hoos have been the better team this year, but you don't win as many games as Frank without having a few go to motivational tactics. I'd suggest digging deep and finding it.

• VT and uva get a primetime ESPN game and this game featuring two legit good teams is off on some side network. Welp.
• How many SECN pundits are going to give GT a chance? I'll go with not a damn one. I'll admit seeing CPJ's face if the Jackets win would be glorious

Pick: Nerds, that's a lot of points for an up n down UGA team, even at home.

• I'd shit on Ole Miss for bombing the end of the season, but you know my O&M glass house and all.
• The Bulldogs can taste it ... win this, relax and let Alabama play in the SECCG while they rest, get healthy and freshen up the O. The loss was a win

• Hot damn, this is a great game, can't wait to watch it ... oh it's on the B1G Ten network. Does the B1G Ten not want any kind of national press or respect?
• For you youngens on Melvin Gordon's jock, through 11 games Barry Sanders had 519 more rushing yards and 12 more rushing touchdowns, remember that when the "record" falls in Melvin's 14th Game and #getoffmydamnlawn

This guy should be drawn by the Alabama fanbase and quartered by the Auburn fanbase

• Logic says Alabama is going to boatrace this sputtering Auburn team and while I think that's true for the Tide offense, that Barners O is taior-made to face Saban too ...
• The SECN is going to have a very balanced and fair alternate feed of this game, I'm sure. Sadly, the feed isn't of some random Alabama bars. Real fisticuffs would be nice

Pick: Bama, Saban wants to put away Gus is his "kryptonite" narrative.
