A Needed Pick Me Up Before the Win Friday

I know these past couple days (if not seasons) has got everyone a little down, but I was just searching for some old VT highlights and found these. Man I miss those days... But we can get back there, and it starts this Friday! Let's pack Lane and get the 2nd Decade of Dominance underway!

I miss the raw emotion of old school college football. Now it's all flash. Who has the biggest pile of cash the throw around. Who has the coolest uniforms. So much of this highlight reel was just a bunch of dudes making dreams come true.

^^Nailed it.

VT desperately needs to find that blue-collar attitude again. The tough as nails, hit you in mouth, no apologies attitude.

Can we get that number 7 guy back...he seems to have a good pair of legs on him

A new season...new hope

This ALWAYS puts me in a good mood. Thanks!

Thank you....I really needed this...a tear came to my eye...Thanks again!

Long live Rasche Hall

That was beautiful

Friday can't get here soon enough.

Today, two of my boys and I drove all the way from Texas. We will have Thanksgiving with family in Roanoke and then enjoy dessert Friday night as the Hokies feast on the Hoos. It will be my first game in Lane since 1972 when Don Strock was QB.

That's awesome man! Have an excellent Thanksgiving and enjoy a Hokie victory!

Long live Rasche Hall

That is great! I drove down from Cape Cod yesterday to spend the holiday with family in Woodstock and Harrisonburg, then plan to drive to Roanoke to meet up with some old Miles Hall buddies and go to my first game in Blacksburg in nearly 20 years. Go Hokies!

How did we ever watch games before HD?

We are spoiled now, most of the beautiful Vick highlights were just so bad to watch with the quality.

Here's some 720P for ya:

Its remarkable how many of those highlights were orchestrated with Bryan Randall at the helm. I always feel like we forget about him with Vick and TT getting most of our attention - both of them were great quarterbacks in their own way. It was a real joy to watch that guy play.
