crazy how they are willing to extend a coach whos NEVER won or been good and we are all sitting around talking about firing one that has been the best we have ever seen and won consistantly for a long time. says either we have completely lost it or they have or maybe both.

I take it to mean that their administration views the program as a team on the rise.Those who want a new HC at Tech think this program is in decline.

If the program is improving = keep the coach
If the program is stagnating = find some New blood.

2-10 no where to go but up.
10-2 no where to go but down.

sometimes an A student messes around gets some C+s and all the sudden everyone is all OMG whats going on with this kid. while another student whos been getting Fs his whole life lucks out and gets a C- and now hes improving.

i know its been a couple down years but LOLUVA goals are wayyyyy lower than ours which is the real reason why we are talking about firing and they are keeping what they have.

We're a team thats used to competing for conference titles sitting at 5-6 after a 4 quarter shutout loss against the lowliest team in the conference while watching our program go on a steady decline over the last 3 years

They're a team that is used to being the conference doormat sitting at 5-6 after beating the piss out of Miami (a team that whipped us 30-6) while watching their program go in a steady rise over the past few years, bringing in multiple 5* players which should pay off in the future

Explain to me why this is a mystery, again?

I am shocked. Their attendance is a major problem for the program. I agree that on-field he has warranted another season but thought the attendance would do him in.
