Man those guys were something else last night... They were way too amped up for that game and I'm shocked they didn't have more personal fouls called on them. Not that it's surprising, those refs can go blow themselves for all I care, they were awful.
A Hoo behind me tried to explain why the Newsome targeting was a good call, he got shut up real quick.

My seats are right on that goal-line in the west stands, so I had a perfect view and I swore that we were going to be a foot short of the goal. But on the replays you can see that we have a Hoo to thank as just when the knee was going down, he pulled Bucky back across his body, pulling the knee away from the ground and allowing Bucky to lay on him while stretching for the TD.
Reavis' punt block, and maybe it was only entertaining to me, but with 2:55 to go, UVA needed to bleed clock. Their kicker, 91, was so proud of his touch-back he celebrated and skipped off the field after celebrating alone.
No time was off the clock, then the late hit penalty, 50 yard Bucky catch and we flip the field in 1:07.

The Dadi/Ken sandwich
Start with Beamer losing his shit after the Newsome ejection, then a shot of Newsome's sheepish smile as he walks into the locker room, finalized by two or three bone crushing hits. After that call it looked like our whole team played pissed off the rest of the game.
If the crowd wasn't into to it before then, they really got into from there.
Nobody sat after that.
The call was so poor. They played the replay like 4 times and the boos went on for several plays.
I saw spittle fly from fans yelling about that play.
Little bro and I aren't allowed to boo anyone. Parents let us boo for three plays after that call.
That segment with Newsome cracked me up, though. There was so much emotion from Beamer, team and fans, and then they cut to Newsome walking into the locker room with a grin, and then he reaches behind him and closes the door like a kid whose Momma is watching.

On one of the two final drives, Nigel Williams was powering through a triple team. He didn't make the play but I've never seen someone transform into a tractor on the field.
I remember that triple team. Like you said he didn't make the play but he moved 3 guys backwards which meant there were only 2 OL to block the other 3 of our DL. Great effort on that play

I was extremely worried that play was going to cost us and the refs were paged to review if a punch was thrown. Can't say I would be proud of that happening and wouldn't consider it anything but a stupid play. That being said, I believe it was a shove that went off target when everyone jumped in.
That was anything but a strong right hook like the commentators said.

I don't know if it was on the tv broadcast, but at the end of the series that Dadi got the PF called, we went up to the ref for some clarification. The ref put his hand on his shoulder and it looked like a good chat. I am sure there is a who's your Dadi gif in there if there is indeed film of it.
Another would be I think towards the end of the 3rd when we broke the run deep in our territory and UVA's #7 was facing the wrong way and we ran right by him.
If I could pick one though, it would be a collage of all the bad calls and no calls by the refs and tying it to Ron Cherry.
