Phreaking AWESOME!

Just realized while watching that, after getting beat like a redheaded stepchild all game long, Michael Brewer SKIPPED into the victory formation.

Seriously...the kid has given us EVERYTHING he's got. He may not be the best qb in the world..but I like what the kid's about and I think the Hokies could do a lot worse behind center. He's got my respect.

Awesome video thank for putting it together. I have already emailed the link to family that couldn't watch the game.

I liked

The End.

This is going to be great for the ACC.

The doors at the end was an awesome touch. Especially as we watched timecop walk away.

Dadi plays with insane speed. I'd say it's unique, except Ekanem looks like he can match him. Both have some technique weaknesses they can still work on, and if they do, this year was just the tip of the iceberg to unleash next year on a big sea of unsuspecting Titanics. We've got two elite DEs folks. Foster's stress doll thanks Dadi & Bane from the bottom of its raggedy heart.

raggedy

Corey Marshall is a beast. Next year, w/ L Maddy back on the line, and some great reserve experience backing them up, we are going to be wicked good. Marshall would be the comeback story of the year if not for...

JCC - this last 3 games may be the start of something really special for him. Watching him not just make positive yardage after contact, but make the correct cut to get the yards needed instead of trying to find something extra where there is no hole is just very promising. The light, finally, appears to have come on for him.

Brewer is just impressive. Yes, makes poor decisions at times. But the kid has got a heart 3 times too large, and has some fantastic young talent to throw to like...

...Isaiah Ford. All the freshmen records. Circus catches. Sticky hands. Another year of learning from Moorehead and getting his route running down, and getting a little better at his blocks, and you've got All American written all over your.

... Cam Phillips. Same as Ford, but with a bit more knack for working the middle of the field. Again, another year working on routes, and we could see some serious YAC piling up.

... Willie Byrn. Paper-boy delivers all last year in break-out season, and looks poised for bigger yardage this year. Then shows he is a great team player who has accepted sharing playing time with great freshmen. And he still delivers when the package is put in his hands.

... Bucky Hodges: This guy -- one season into his new position -- has all the makings of a superstar. When you consider that he is just now putting together his route running and he already has broken all the TE records, you cannot help but see a very bright future indeed. Which leads me to...

Bryan Stinespring. Look, it's no secret that I despised him as an OC. But there is simply no denying that he appears to be a guru at coaching the TE position. After seeing Kalvin Cine blossom last year, and then Bucky this, and Malleck playing really solidly as well, well, I'll just say I am extremely happy Stiney is with us. If we can start next year with all three TE's healthy, opposing teams are going to have their hands full.

Sam Rogers: You cannot stop him. You can only hope to contain him. Normally the talking heads look at a guy like this and his story and say "He's the heart of this team", which is a nice way for announcers to say he's not a great player, but everyone loves his spirit.

Well Sam is a great player. He makes the right decision. He can run. He can catch. He can block. He can throw. He plays with attitude. He delivers blows. His football IQ is off the charts. His heart isn't just big, it jumps out of his chest and kicks the other team right in the Schweddies. If he keeps playing like this on Saturdays, he's going to find himself playing on Sundays. And whoever drafts him yea, verily, will dip.

The only thing missing for next year is an O-line that can perform its tasks dependably for more than 1 or 2 or 3 snaps in a row before making some critical error.

I'm not for canning anyone at this point. I'm disappointed mostly in Searels, but let's face it: Losing two of your starters to start the season, then your best tackle from last year mid-season is not exactly a recipe for success. Good recruiting this year, and a full year and 2015 spring and fall practice in his system, and we may just see what we have been aching to see for the last 10 years.

Searels gets a pass for stepping into a hot mess and doing the best he can. He needs another year to prove if he can cut it or not. He did a good job pulling Hansen for Conte last night.

It may have been asked in another thread but where was Josh Stanford last night? Maybe it was just me, but I didn't see him the entire game, sideline or field.

I saw him in the pregame 'altercation', so he was there and dressed, but I also never saw him again after that.. although it's tough to notice every person

He was on the sideline dressed all game, don't remember if he ever got any snaps though.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

I saw him postgame on the field but I don't know if he recorded a catch. Seems like he's still getting things together off the field, hopefully he comes back next season looking like his old self.

How about Wade Hansen (#77) showing up just in time to help Brewer scramble on the early throw to Ford.
