Bruton Smith won't let the appeal of his game suffer by having a match up happen before 2016. Ol' Boss Hogg has enough money to make things happen or not happen.

Looks like the Independence and Military Bowls are Dec 27th (Saturday) in the afternoon and the Detroit one is Dec 26th (Friday). I'd prefer the Saturday ones personally

I'd like to see a scenario where the Hokies played Maryland in a bowl. Getting another chance against the Terps would be a proverbial refreshing shot of mouthwash.

If the Orange picks a Big Ten team to pair with GT, then the Citrus must pick an ACC team to replace them (I haven't figured out the rationale of this condition yet). That would bump all those Tier 1 teams up one more slot, potentially opening up a spot for VT in the Belk, Pinstripe or Music City (no way the Sun wants us again).
On the worst case scenario, if GT destroys FSU, then potentially FSU could fall not just out of the Final Four but out of the New Years games as well, pushing them to the RAB and everyone down a slot. But that isn't likely, even a 1 loss FSU is likely to earn an at large to the Cotton or Peach.

Im sorry but were not the type of offense right now (health wise or scheme wise) to go beat up on Florida, South Carolina maybe but Florida's defense is top notch

I thought we were mostly likely to play South Central Louisiana State University in the Bourbon Bowl. That Boucher kid is a 6th year senior, and finally healthy again...could be trouble.
Go Mud Dogs!

I'd like to somehow lobby for A) better bowl cities B) a new bowk game played in Charleston SC. What does it take nowadays to get a bowk game out of a city to a new one in someplace warmer? Example how did CONUSA get a bowl game in the Bahamas and the ACC is in Detriot and Shrevports LA? Or Miami, Boca Raton two nice warm places hosting new bowl games.

Miami can hardly handle the Orange Bowl these days let alone having a second one and the stadium is so awful that most bowl games arent interested in being set there anyway.
Shreveport, LA is a great little city if you havent been there. It has all the charm of New Orleans without alot of the dirt. It does lack for some of the party punch but its better than alot of places (see El Paso, Texas or Boise, Idaho) or anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon Line in the middle of winter. I would love to go to a bowl game in Charleston but what facility are you going to use to play that game in? There is no defending a bowl game in Detroit.

Is the TaxSlayer Bowl considered to be one of those "Tier 1" bowls? I've heard that one bantered about too, but wasn't sure of it's placement.
It's Taxslayer or Music City. The ACC and Big Ten alternate those by year. And yes, they're in the Tier I.
I don't want to travel to Shreveport, but the idea of playing Tennessee in the Independence Bowl appeals to me.

Coincidentally, you can get shots of mouthwash at most Maryland tailgates

I'm hoping for the Independence bowl against USCe
hoping for Arkansas, something different although Tennessee would create a nice preview an buzz for Battle at Bristol
This..plus I have a buddy who's a razorback fan. Would be a fun one to watch.

Miami has 3 bowls this year/next year.
Has anyone heard what bowl we're headed to? No one is returning my calls.
Littlepage blocked your cell phone again?
And Swofford, AGAIN, once the season was over.
