SportsBusiness Journal has the story: http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journal/Issues/2013/01/14/Colleges/AC....
A successful television network would be one major way the ACC could keep up financially with the B1G, Pac-12, and SEC.
ESPN would have to give the ACC its blessing, and probably be a partner on any network, since they own the league's media rights for the foreseeable future.

Great...
now I'll have to pay extra to watch us?? Lovely....just lovely.
I would buy an ACC Network package just so that I never again get blacked out of a VT game because its on ESPNU.
Meh, what took them so long?
I'll be excited about being in the ACC, if it starts becoming a feared football powerhouse. I'd still rather go to tough away games in Columbia, Athens, Gainesville, and Knoxville than see us travel to Wake Forest or Duke (among others).
Only airing during.......
........basketball season.
