Why wouldn't he make an announcement. Just because he is committed doesn't mean he can't hold the conference. Kids dream about this day/putting on the hat. Even though Mook, jreynolds06 & the rest of the family know his decision they should still be able to share it with everyone that has helped him get this far.

To echo an (apparently) unpopular opinion, I also think we were way too rough on this guy's original comment.
My first thought when I heard Mook was having this presser was the same thought as his, why have one if you're already committed? Then I checked his Twitter and its been all Clemson stuff for a little bit.
All he said was that he believed he was gone, which is a totally understandable opinion if you whiffed on reading between the lines in this thread (not that its too difficult...).
So yeah, I do kinda think we did the guy dirty.
Still think its hilarious that he did an all caps comment about how he's not posting anymore because honestly, no one cares dude.

A year or so ago, someone posted something on one of your breakdowns about how his son and some of the other players would look at them. When I looked up the location on the poster's profile, no players on the roster were from that exact location, but it was pretty close to Lexington, which made me think it was probably Caleb Farris' dad.

I have just about died laughing (I'm sick so laughing causes hacking, coughing and wheezing) at some of the comments posted. The last high-profile DB recruit that chose us over Clemson worked out OK.
Off-topic but, when I met Mama Fuller in Columbus, she said that Kendall really loved Clemson and was serious about potentially going there, but she layed the smackdown on him and told him that he was going to Tech.

When I start my recruit film reviews after the bowl game, you will find out real quick how excited I am about this kid at Virginia Tech. He is so similar to a Kyle Fuller, but will be bigger when he fills out. Watching him play in an outside linebacker role his junior year at North Guilford, he looked just like Torrian Gray circa 1995. You old timers like me know what a compliment that is.

He is so similar to a Kyle Fuller, but will be bigger when he fills out. Watching him play in an outside linebacker role his junior year at North Guilford, he looked just like Torrian Gray circa 1995. You old timers like me know what a compliment that is.

Yeah. From what I've seen of his film, he looks like a REALLY good one. It looks like the game already moves slowly for him (something that I think the recruiting services miss). Perfect fit for a VT defense.
