What a blow for WVU and what a great thing for folks who want NCAA reform.

It seems like Luck did a great job at WVU. Tough for the cousins but maybe good things to come for improvement in the NCAA?

Edit: I basically just said the same thing Joe did ^ and didn't see it. Can I delete this comment?

If we are fortunate we'll see some positive change in the NCAA and an end to all/some of the dickensian rules

Glad he's gone from wvu. The guy is a huge douchebag but he gets results

West Virginian by birth, Hokie by choice

I can't speak to his douchiness but I can say that anything that makes WVU worse off I'm all for.

So he will be 2nd in charge of not doing anything.

More fecklessness.

I can't believe he stayed in Morgantown this long.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

Wasn't he under heavy consideration for the AD post at Texas just a year or two ago?

Hey, WVU - I guess you could say that your Luck...

...ran out.

"Exit light..."

exit light

I was so hoping someone would follow up with that.

Charleston Daily Mail has named Whit Babcock as a potential candidate for the job.

I think it's possibility, and I would hate to see him go. Whit got his masters from the cousins and has already worked for WVU before. Though after his introductory presser he was extremely excited to be at Virginia Tech, especially with his ties to JMU. I don't see him leaving, especially considering the support he's gotten from his moves already.

I have no idea why my username is VT_Warthog.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

Considering Whit is from Virginia and has routinely said that being at VT makes him feel at home, I don't see this as anything more than a pipe dream from a heartbroken fan base.

that would be a disaster.

what's the chance we hit another AD hire out of the park like that?

Every second counts

lol

Whit's not going to leave VT.

Glad to see Oliver on the NCAA team - he would make a great fit for President, should Emmert decide to leave/get fired.
