I had someone (who admittedly hates everything about Virginia Tech) tell me that Newsome was an awesome recruiter and Oline coach at both JMU and VT.

I always thought it was ironic.....

That Newsome coached at JMU before and Stiney went to JMU undergrad and then we lose to JMU. I didn't say deliberate but just ironic. Anyway, why dig up old bones.

Don't get too excited yet. Auburns has been worse than us in sacks allowed and tfls allowed over the last 2 years, with their oline coaches "best" season there occuring during their NC title run... where they were ranked in the mid 50s to 60s in both catagories respectivly. Yea they had a lot of oline talent leave after 2010, but their line didn't get better and we lost just as many guys on the oline from the 2011 squad and still did better
