I'm excited to see more plays like this for a few years
After the dust Settles, they may need the NTSB to identify the wreckage.
Every time I watch one of his videos, I'm amazed at his speed and athleticism. I can only imagine what he is capable of after being gentrified.

Man this guy is huge, he looks like an SEC defensive lineman! I'm hyped to have him on the squad and see what he does at Tech. If he sees some playing time, I'd live to see him lined up with Luther Maddy and Dadi Nicholas on the defensive line.
Just gonna throw this out there. With Bud just recentlycommenting about how he and Torian are tinkering with a three down linemen package, anyone else think Settle is custom made to be the nose tackle in that look?

Did that announcer say we struggled on defense this year or did I hear that wrong? We weren't elite this year by any means but to say that VT genuinely struggled would be a stretch.
Anyway, extremely happy to get Settle. Really lessens the blow of Nnadi last year. He and Walker (along with Fullwood and likely Whitehead) will be good ones the next few years.

Highly-rated prospect at a position of need, or a 3-star guy (albeit one who would be a great fit) at a position that's young and talented, with decent depth? Plus, I'm not convinced Cager or his WR coach stick at the U for long.

No idea why the 247 composite still shows 3-star.
The dreaded Scout.com rating. Almost single-handedly makes the composite worthless. Their rankings are consistently, bafflingly bad- I don't think they do any real scouting at all, it's all done by the people who run the individual sites and at the major camps/all-star games
No great loss. I would rather have another 2 x 3 star Olinemen than another WR who would wind up sitting for two years...
