The Hokies have offered 6'8", 265 junior offensive tackle Sean Foster. He's ranked a 4-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite.
It's an honor to have received my 18th offer from Virginia Tech #gohokies pic.twitter.com/a7hhKOv3ky— Sean Foster (@foster__75) January 8, 2015
Foster is being recruited by Coach Moorehead and Coach Searels. It is interesting to note that not only is Coach Moorehead following Foster on Twitter, but he is also following 6'5 304 pound junior offensive tackle Trent Maynard from Decatur High School. Maynard is rated a high three star recruit and is also a basketball player. Don't be shocked if he too soon sees an offer. Both prospects have excellent feet, and with future left tackle a concern, getting potential players with good feet and length is critical for the position.

He looks like Crabbe from Harry Potter in that picture. Joking aside, a big kid like that would be cool though.
#AllTheOLinemen his last name is fitting for a Hokie
I love it and think we should blanket the nation with offensive line offers.
How tall is too tall for an offensive line? 6'8" seems like a problem for both the QB's vision (obviously not as much on the blind side) but as well as keeping low leverage.
Dan Skipper for Arkansas is 6'10 and he is pretty good
Height should be no object, as long as he gets the job done protecting the backs.
But let's say for a moment that he can play low. If he has a good surge off the snap and stands up a 6'2" DL, the man's gonna be serving more pancakes than IHOP.
With that feam though I'd like to see him gain 20-30 lbs of good weight.
Mundelein??? Decatur???
Wow, 3 recruiticorn offers in one night? Coaches sure are busy...
'Tis the season. The 2015 class is about wrapped up, time to make some moves on 2016 while we have downtime in the season.
Wow, we offered him 18 times?! We must really want this guy. Maybe he's holding out for that 38th offer though.
Yeah...he keeps saying "No"....but Searels won't take "No" for an answer!
no means no man
something something Jameis Winston
And da ohio state gave them a course in Big Boy football.
Just read that the way they extended the offer to Foster was, Moorehead DMed Foster on Twitter saying to call him because he had a question. When Foster called, Both Aaron and Frank were on the line and they both extended the offer together by phone to this young man. Foster said in an interview with 247 it was a surprise that Frank was on the line when he called.
Our recruiting procedures have come so, so far since Frank shook up the staff.
And since Frank got an iPhone...
What's awesome about this is that it comes across that Beamer and Moorehead were sitting around literally waiting on Foster to call making him the #1 priority on the day. Its not like the coaches were calling him, they were waiting on him, and made him special.
What a great move.
Beamer offered Sean's father a scholarship coming out of high school.

Does he have any availability left?
From the sound of this article it doesn't appear that Sean knows Frank Beamer's name. He only calls him the head coach during the entire interview.
After seeing "Sean Foster" I wondered what it would be like if Bud Foster adopted me and I became Sean Foster.
I imagine it like the Blind Side movie except you when you wreck the "new" truck Bud just threatens the truck until it reassembles itself.
Would be a great get but he's in BiG territory, offered by 9 BiG schools already and his Dad played at Iowa (one of his 9 BiG offers). He may not follow in dad's footsteps but I don't hold out a lot of hope for this one.
He is big but...his highlight doesn't really blow me away like Clark and Teller's do. Seems like a big guy with decent strength amongst very undersized ends and backers... wonder how he will do against similar size and strength guys.
