CB / FS Kareem Felder II of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, MD landed a Tech offer tonight.
I don't usually tweet about my offers but I'm really blessed to receive an offer from #VT #Hokies — Kareem Felder II #7 (@Wolvereem07) January 8, 2015
Kareem is rated as 2-star prospect by Rivals and is unranked by 247Sports. Without even watching his film, if VT is offering a DB this early, I can say with a high level of certainty that he will be re-ranked down the road.

What do you think in particular has the coaches attention? Size, speed, footwork, mechanics?
IMO, yes...except size. No way this kid should be a 2*.
This is probably the coaches secret. When we offer kids rated poorly by the recruiting sites I always wonder what thing the coaches see that nobody else does that makes them offer. We seem to hit on a lot of low or unrated kids.
I watched 30 sec of his video and knew he wasn't a 2*. Reminds me a little of Mook Reynolds.
What are the rules governing the use of "II" vs "Jr."?
I'm not positive,
but I think it's one of those things where its up to the parents which label is used.Either that or Jr. is when first, middle, and last name are the same, and the II is just first name and last name are the sameII might not be direct lineage?
I actually did some digging! For clarification:

basically we're both right chiihokie
Personal preference. Though, I've heard people claim that it's pretentious to use II if you don't have a son who's III. I always hated the term "junior" growing up because I didn't want to be associated with all the "jernyers" where we lived. So I claimed II and now my kid is III so it's all good.
Ask Kevin Tolliver
True or False: The kid he hit in that first clip is still alive.
Basically this is what I saw

Spelled Fuller wrong.
A corner from Baltimore, you say? I'll take him
This kid looks really good! He also seems genuinely psyched about receiving an offer from the Hokies....could definitely be one of the next great ones at DBU!
Thoroughly enjoyed the hit on the play from 1:45 although the WRs appear to have attended the Marcus Davis School of Blocking.
btw, the guy in the NRCC ad is currently looking for work in the NRV if anyone knows of anything. Army vet who's worked as a draftsman in AutoCAD and Inventor
Even though the name is close and he's from Baltimore, the kid reminds me Macho Harris more than the Fullers. Plays more aggressive and with less finesse than the Fullers, for better or worse. The Fullers are stoic, unforgiving, pass stopping machines, this guy plays with more raw athleticism at the moment.
I definitely see the Macho comparison.
This kid knows how to kick a highlight reel off the right way!
Love that we are getting on this kid's radar earlier than everyone else. His size doesn't leap off the video at you but he more than makes up for it with that speed and how physical he is. Hope we can get him on board!
If he's not the one that touched the ball on the last blocked kick, it could be a penalty.
