The Seattle Seahawks clearly get it. For the playoffs, CenturyLink Field is serving several new food items, including the "Bam Bam Kam," a turkey leg with his number 31 stamped into it.

Kam Chancellor just hurdled the line on a field goal attempt. Somehow he didn't block it, but it looked freaking awesome, maybe caused a false start
HE JUST DID IT AGAIN. Got a piece of the kick , but got called for running into the kicker. Graham Gano flopped hard
I love Kam as much as any Hokie, but I don't know how he missed that block. There was no false start that I could see on the first kick and he didn't block it again the second time.
He's a beast but he didn't touch the football twice in a row there.

Regardless of the lack of a true block, the sheer athleticism he displayed was incredible. Hurdling an O-lineman after perfectly timing crossing the line of scrimmage? Don't see that one every day...or year.
He was lined up on the opposite side of the kick. He learned that he had to aim farther right after he missed the first time since Gano was essentially kicking away from his path. When he adjusted to get in the direct path of the ball, Gano shanked it way away from him (making it nearly impossible for Kam to block) and his path pointed him directly toward Gano with full momentum. Saying he "didn't make the play" makes it sound like he botched it, but I'd say it's more like saying Gordon Hayward "didn't make the play" when he barely missed the half court shot to win the NCAA tournament. There's a good reason you don't see that all the time despite the athletes the NFL employs.
We can argue that maybe it wasn't 100% effective but, it sure was fun to watch.
I wonder if he learned that from Kyle at last year's GT game.
