With Gayle going to the Redskins, this signing restores some balance to the universe.
No, but seriously, I'm hoping he can stay away from the injury bug and do some big things eventually.

Always good to see a Hokie doing well.

Great news! Here's hoping he can stay healthy and prove he can be a star!
Great news! One of my favorite Tech backs ever, and I'm happy to see him looking to contribute in a meaningful way to his favorite team in hopefully the near future! WTG Ryan!
I'm with you- it REALLY hurt to see him go. What a talent. Redskin fan by birth, but I would love to see Ryan just kill it.
I like the way they talk about him.
Glad to hear it. I would be very interested to see what a healthy Ryan Williams could do behind that offensive line. That's a tough 2-deep to crack though.
There are rumors of the cowgirls not resigning their stud from this year both because he will be too expensive and he has an injury history. If true this gives RMFW a good chance to make the roster vice the practice squad he was on this year...
So they'll let franchise single season rushing record holder DeMarco Murray go because of an injury history and then sign Ryan Williams to the roster to replace him?
Love Ryan Williams, but I dunno, I just don't see any team using him as a replacement for anyone with an injury history. Doesn't seem like the best business decision to me.
even if they cut murray i still think dunbar and randall are ahead of ru on the depth chart. both when given oppurtonities produced well. love ru and hope he gets a chance to see the field but more than likely this means either randall or dunbar are gone not that murray is and not that ru wont likely see any carries again this season. but hey you know what they say in blacksburg..... you can never have to many RBs!
Cowboys possibly not resigning Murray has to do with salary cap room. The injury stuff isn't a real concern. If Murray does walk away, he has a good shot at making the squad since they carry 3 RBs for games.
Doesn't seem like the best business decision to me.
When has Jerry Jones every made the best business decisions when it comes to the team's personnel. He seems to always overpay for his players, which always come backs to bite him in the @$$ a couple years down the road. This might be the first time where he actually isn't going to overpay a player with Murray, but only because he has to pay Dez and Doug Free this year and he is running out of cap space due to past contract obligations.
When he drafted an offensive lineman in the 1st round instead of Johnny Manziel, that was a ray of sunshine in the midst of darkness.
Before that, I can't say.
Actually, Jones wanted Manziel but he bowed down to the coaching staff and went with Martin instead. Great decision but if it was solely up to Jones, JFF would be in Dallas.
Fair point, but what that shows is that Jerry finally decided to wise up and listen to someone who knows football.
Looks like he'll be playing in the same division as his good buddy/training sled Earl Wolff.
I hate the Cowboys (America's team - ha, no fucking way), but I am very excited for RMFW. Hopefully he stays healthy and shows them how bad ass he is.
I hope he does very well except against the Skins. May they hold him to under 50 yards. Other than that I hope he tears it up, but hope they still lose games. Kind of like how Barry Sanders was badass but the Lions were still atrocious. So hopefully he can get to any other team after this two year deal and sign a bigger deal and do great things.
The only time you will ever see me cheer for the Cowboys...when RMFW gets the ball!!
Its a future contract, doesn't mean he has made the 53 man roster.
Same with Gayle, Carmichael and Danny Coale.
Give em hell, Lil' Sweetness!
The financial success of any NFL football team is not correlated to any ability to assemble a good football team.
For case study I suggest Redskins, Dan Synder. Synder has made tons of bad business decisions on personnel, players, and PR since buying the Redskins. (probably his only good business move)
Still making BOAT LOADS!
Hope Ryan W. makes a comeback, Sad that it could be with the Cowboys.
Hearing reports that he was cut from the team yesterday
Yup....apparently he had another knee surgery...man...that poor guy just can't catch a break.
Was REALLY hoping things would work out for him, he has had ZERO luck in the NFL. On the outside I'm:
But on the inside I'm all:
Him and Danny Coale man :/
Dude was NEVER injured in college. Gets to the NFL, cant stay healthy. This sucks.
