Thanks to Andy Bitter for pointing this out.
"College nearly kept Virginia Tech and former Buena standout football player Laurence Gibson from being able to become a professional offensive lineman."

Wonder if this has been an issue in the past. Has VT updated their firewall this year?
This seems like an important issue to fix ASAP.

Fixed.

I wonder what the firewall flagged the emails under, criminal organization?
That would be the NCAA not the NFL
I'm shocked the NFL and the showcase games he missed exclusively use email. Seems like something they'd send in paper as well... Or notify the football program somehow. Just email seems silly
My thoughts exactly. "Well, I kept emailing you..." sounds like an excuse from a student who tried to turn in their paper late. Make a big deal out of it, NFL. Come on. Mail the invite, notify the AD, and be official.
Plus, didn't Chase Williams play in the NFLPA game? They got hold of him somehow. Maybe they should've asked Chase to talk to Laurence.
I'm guessing several things, the players getting ready for draft are no longer in Blacksburg, are NFL teams and senior bowls allowed to go through athletic depts?
They were roommates too.
