Unsure if he has a full scholarship offer, grey shirt or is a prefered walk-on.

Odd... 247 doesn't even have a profile on him...
Looks like an ultimate diamond in the rough candidate
He is at a Prep school so profiles on those guys are sometimes hit or miss.
Here is his HUDL page: Mikey McDonald
6' 1, 225 lbs.
So is he not a senior at Benedictine? Because Benedictine is not a "prep" school. It is a four year high school. I'm class of '02 there.
They did change the name to Benedictine College Preparatory a few years ago, but it is still a high school. I'm class of '93 myself and I survived 4 years of English with Coach Arnold.
Coach Arnold man was that something my senior year. He was also my LB/SS coach for 3 years. Did you have Savage? As for the name change and moving of the school out of the city I'm firmly in the did not approve camp.
Yes, I had three years of Spanish with Coach Savage and way too many runs to Malvern Avenue and back during track. The new campus is nice, but living in Sandston means that sending my son to be a third generation Cadet probably won't happen. Not to mention that tuition and fees are up to $17,000+ a year now. Still, I'm psyched to have some BHS guys playing for the Hokies. It almost makes me forget Patrick Dosh-almost.
Is Chiocca's still a big hangout for the Benedictine crew? Good food, but takes forever.
Probably not since the school moved out to the Abbey in Goochland. They do still play basketball games at Sheppard Street though.
Patrick Dosh was my year. He ended up at ECU as a LB. I'm a product of St. Benedicts then Benedticine, I think the newest cadets miss out on so much by not being in the museum district. Walking to Carytown, having world class museums across the street, and all girls school a block away.
It was a great area to go to school. I understand the financial and demographic influences that prompted the decision, but it's still tough to walk away from 100 years of history. At least they still play basketball games at Sheppard Street. I took my son to a BCCC game there two years ago and got to introduce him to Coach Arnold and Savage before they retired.
Appears to have no stars and mostly FCS offers.

According to that he had no other offers. I would assume he has got to be a preferred walk on based on his lack of offers.
Walk-on per Mr. Bitter
Like usual, I don't have anything valuable to add but this gif works with the beat of the highlight video and that blew my mind.
valuable life skills there
One day, someone is going to marry that girl, get her pregnant, and have to explain this gif.
it can be a life lesson... on how to become famous and have men use as an upvote!
Oh all right...I'll bite the bullet
"One day, someone is going to marry that girl, get her pregnant, and have to explain this gif."
I'm thinking ONE of the three will be easily explained...
This gif is at least 4-5 years old. It's entirely possible that all of the above has already happened.
...and now she's a reality TV star
That's a good looking booootttyyy!!!
The whole time, I'm thinking that is someone's daughter!
Even though he is smaller, he reminds me a lot of Jack Tyler plowing through blocks like he does
Lot of talent at Benedictine next year, good to have a familiar face at VT.
Now, call Clelin Farrell one more time.
My high school has really turned into a talent rich school for both football and basketball. Basketball has always been there one of the best in the state but for football in my four years there I think two kids went FBS football on a scholarship. Get some inroads into there and it might help in basketball recruiting also, it's a small school a lot of crossover on sports teams.
I haven't followed their basketball in a while. I was planning to go there for basketball when Rutledge was the coach but when he passed, I ended up not going. We used to go to a lot of the games. That old gym was great.
It's going to be a real shame when they finally leave Rut Court at Memorial Gym on Sheppard.
With Raymon Minor and Charley Meyer, that gives us 3 Benedictine guys.
Nigel Williams
Didn't think about Nigel. Good Danny Coale.
