Defensive line coach Charley Wiles is spending an awful lot of time in North Carolina this recruiting cycle, and now some of the players he's been chasing in the state are finding their way to Blacksburg.
Wiles has already helped reel in CB Mook Reynolds, and he's been hot on the trail of DE Jalen Dalton as well.
But while it might make sense for Wiles to go after defensive players, like that aforementioned pair, he's also helping out the offensive staff in the state by pursuing players like running back Bryce Love of Wake Forest High School.
Love chose last weekend's Georgia Tech game as his official visit to VT, but he wasn't going just to see Wiles.
"Mook and I were talking to each other the whole time, we just had a really good time," Love said. "The atmosphere and stadium were great, it was a good trip."
Love also got a chance to spend time with another young running back to help him get acquainted with Blacksburg.
"I spent a lot of time with my host, Travon McMillian," Love said. "It was just really cool."
Love had previously stopped by the campus for the program's Junior Day earlier this year, but he wanted a look at the atmosphere of the school on a gameday.
"He came up for Junior Day and got to work with Coach Wiles a lot, but he wanted a closer look," said Chris Love, Bryce's father. "And the stadium was electrifying, the weather was great, it was a great visit."
But the Loves wanted to make sure their son learned as much as he could about the academic side of the campus as well.
"He has a 4.5 GPA, so he's very interested in academics," Chris said. "And we had a great meeting with the academic staff when we were there."
As important as the program itself may be, Chris was quick to point out where his son's priorities lie.
"The priority is always academics," Chris said. "That and finding a family atmosphere, a camaraderie."
The staff did their best to welcome Bryce into their own families to help showcase that atmosphere.
"I got to spend time with Coach Wiles and Coach Beamer, we ate with them and met their families and everything," Bryce said.
But inevitably talk did turn to what the staff thinks Bryce can do on the football field. He's listed as a 4-star all-purpose back by the 247Sports Composite ranking, and the coaches think they can take advantage of his speed on the field.
"They talked about using me as a receiver and on jet sweeps, but also running between the tackles," Bryce said.
Bryce stars for the school's track team when he's not on the football field, in addition to working with his dad on a local track and field club, so it's hardly a surprise that his explosiveness is what's attracted the Hokies.
"I think my strengths are my speed, elusiveness," Bryce said. "I can definitely catch it out of the backfield."
Chris is focused on helping his son with more than just his times on the track. He says he's also trying to take an active role in Bryce's recruitment.
"We're just trying to guide him through the process, since he's had attention since his freshman year really," Chris said. "We want to make sure he gets to see the schools he's interested in."
The Hokies are one of many teams on that particular list.
"I'm interested in the in-state schools of course, like UNC, ECU and N.C. State, but also Florida, Stanford," Bryce said. "I also like Tennessee, I'll be making a visit there soon."
Bryce says a decision isn't imminent, but he'll be making his choice sometime in the next few months.
"I'm trying to decide during this football season," Bryce said.
He added that he does want to take another trip to Tech between now and then, but with a quality high school squad to think about, recruiting is still on the backburner.
"Last year, his team went to the state championships and they've got a group of seniors that he came in with," Chris said. "They're all focused on this year, then the next level."

So to go with the 11 db D we are going for an 11 rb O?
Na we'll move them all to TE
Even in defeat, the atmosphere at Lane Stadium is always great. Hopefully all the recruits understand that Lane Stadium is a great college place to play.
That is disturbing. I just threw up in my mouth. Yuuch!
Dude Love, disturbing?
Come on, brother -- DL doesn't want anything more than harmony and peace.
And maybe to give you a little Sweet Shin Music.
Maybe he prefers Mr Socko?
Never forget the Rock & Sock Connection, an all-time great tag team.
Another 4* RB?
Yes, please... I'll order that!
Let's get Love in contact with DW4... the word "explosiveness" sounds like an exact match with that of Wilson.
Any time a recruit mentions "family atmosphere," I start to like our chances even more. Talented kid, and smart, too. Sounds like a Hokie to me.
Stay classy VT /s
I don't understand. Because we are pursuing out-of-state students?
Reference to the Dee Fullwood thread.
Speed!
He sounds like the perfect recruit with the correct priorities. Can you feel the LOVE?
Like we've always said, if we could just get these big time recruits on campus then our chances will greatly improve. It's something that we've been saying for years, but I feel like it's even more evident in this cycle.
Hey cool, we have the same Quads.
When I first saw this, my initial reaction was, "seriously? Why are we wasting a schollie on another RB??" After watching that film though... Kid looks like he can play, and I've got no problem offering him. He's essentially being recruited to be Deon Newsome.
This might be unpopular to say, but with the ineffectiveness of these smaller (scat) backs, do we really want more?
I will take a high 4* player like Love any day of the week. And it's not like he's that small, he's 5'10.
David Wilson could be lumped in the smaller back category and we definitely need to find some playmakers in the return game. Maybe they are already on the roster, but we haven't seen it recently. At the end of the day, I think the kid's talent is more important than his stature alone.
I believe decision day is this Friday for Love. Looked like Stanford was the leader but the word in NC is his family wants him to stay closer to home. I always thought out of all the NC HS RBs in the class, I thought Love was the one destined to go to school out of State, but it looks like UNC, VT or Tennessee.
I know Wiles and Shane had an in home, recently, do we have a shot?
I suppose if we're still sending dudes for in-home visits we've got a shot. What I really want is for our committed guys to sign. No flips....or FLAPS FOR THAT MATTER. Okay, it's too early, going back to bed.
Thats weird/funnythey say that picture is taken in Washington, DC. Its really Centreville HS's football stadium
Like how artists playing at Nissan Pavilion (Jiffy Lube Live) start their shows with "WHAT'S UP DC????"
well I live 5 minutes from there (centreville high) and everybody there say they are from NoVa. Closest I have heard people say is "I live right outside of DC" if they are talking to someone not from that area
...there's a difference? You get to Gainesville on 29 and everything from then on is the same to me...
My understanding is that Love is out for Tennessee based on this Mike Farrell tweet.
https://mobile.twitter.com/rivalsmike/status/558733623726440448
That likely means that he is going to Stanford, with VT being a dark horse to flip him if he decides to stay close to home. UNC also got Love on campus as well, so they may be in the game.
Wasn't Mike also the dude that had Lil' Fuller to Klempsun too?
Yes. Fortunately we hired Kevin Jones' dad as Strength and Conditioning coach back in 2001, which sealed the deal with the Fullers.
I know you are joking but I'm sure there are plenty of readers who don't...
man, CFB and company should show this kid some more love
I didn't think we still were in the ballpark for Love, thought he was considered long gone. Would be a nice cherry on top of this class if he were to surprise on signing day.
This is my high school! Come on, Bryce, follow my lead! VT is where you ought to be.
Bryce announces at 3pm. Anyone think we have a legit shot today?
I don't
that godamn tree
I think we've got a chance. Tight family relationship, regional guy, made the visit to campus.
That's about all it took for rest of us!
Wiles and Beamer had an in-home visit recently, but I thought it was interesting that Stanford sent five coaches...FIVE. And yes, one of them happens to be the head man. Love is believed to be a very heavy Stanford lean.
Bryce Love has a lovely home.
That's got to work in our favor. Who would want to move across the country from that place?
I'll get downvoted for this but, let me fix that for you Charley Wiles and SHANE BEAMER had an in home visit the Head Coach once again didn't make it. Just a FYI for anyone that says I was exaggerating in a earlier thread that Beamer doesn't do in homes. So that makes:
Bryce Love
Josh Sweat
Jalen Dalton
Clelin Ferrell
Darrell Taylor
Darvin Taylor
All players that we had a legitimate shot at that we didn't finish on just in this recruiting cycle.
Doesn't every team miss about that many players that they want? They aren't Pokemon.
If you think that the point of the above comment was that I'm mad we didn't get all those players you are reading it wrong. The point is as fans we shouldn't expect the big name 4 and 5 star recruits to come here if or head coach doesn't want to do in home visits.
In Bryce Loves case we sent baby Beamer and Charley Wiles to NC, while Stanford flew its entire coaching staff across country to close the deal.
I never thought we would get Love. Stanford has been the favorite for a while but instead of getting lax on the recruiting front like we did with Sweat, D. Taylor, Ferrell, and Jalen Dalton Stanford sent its entire staff across country to close the deal. If we as fans want VT to play with the big boys we need to start holding or coaches to a higher standard on the field as well as on the recruiting trail.
Does anyone else feel like there's always a lot of this going on with respect to the debate around VT recruiting?
In general I think there is a segment of the fan base that thinks that any criticism of the coaching staff, no matter how rational or well articulated, is a sort of Hokie heresy.
This is a fact
Well, when you use the CFB nipple foto for your avatar, you are going to draw some skepticism.
But isn't that just an ad hominem, or a thinly veiled TrueHokie argument? You can be a fan and still be critical of what you perceive as the coaching staff's shortcomings.
Ad hominem? Nah.
But the photo is a ridiculousness.
There's a certain difference between being critical and portraying them as ridiculous.
You want that, it'll set a certain tone.
I'll point out ridiculous and call on it.
Logical critical arguments based on fact are perfect.
the massive number of unfounded statements made last season that tried to say there was micromanagement, vicious arguments between coaches and that Frank had "Lost the locker room", needed something like a credible source to begin to be a basis for a logical argument or the point from which critical arguments could be made.
There was a lot of unfounded rumor flying about last season.
Not to say it's anything to do with you but, in general, there was a lot of rumor that needed real #sources.
Well, yeah, but none of that is happening now. He's saying Frank doesn't do enough in homes during recruiting. There's actually some data to back that up, which he sourced. So talking about the wild rumors that flew during the season in response to a specific leveled criticism about recruiting is kind of a non sequitur.
I was talking about the CFB nipple picture as avatar as a display of lack of respect and it's impact on critical statements, you said I was accusing him of being not a true Scottsman and the conversation moved from there.
I think we've got a case where we're both arguing different arguments.
I'll drop everything from as non productive and headed to nowhere over essentially a non issue.
well, whether Frank not doing home visits isn't really a non-issue. Seems like a fairly important one.
I think the Stanford picture says a lot. Recruits like to see the effort made. Not saying Frank isn't putting effort in but seems like a trend this year whereby some top recruits we were chasing we missing a final visit be the big man.
To use NCAA video game metaphor, Stanford is "sending the house" while we are only spending a few recruiting points to send some assistant coaches.
I know Frank has done home visits before. I have seen that he has, but this year he is visibly absent on at least a few.
Absolutely nothing to argue against here.
Right, again, but, you still aren't engaging the actual argument that was taking place. You focused in on HokieBengal's avatar and ignored his actual argument that Frank's lack of in homes is hurting our recruiting efforts. It was just really tangential.
This in home visit issue is a concern, because it either indicates a lack of effort or a lack of ability to make in homes for some other reason. Either is concerning.
And the unseriousness the avatar brings to the criticism.
So, yes, It's not a comment directly on the home visits, it's a comment on the comment regarding criticisms.
Again, we're agreeing and arguing different aspects of the same point.
You wouldn't go to court wearing a T-Shirt saying,
"Judges are ridiculous and shouldn't be taken seriously" to your court hearing,
Same thing.
Not sure why you are surprised by this. Ignoring the argument and trying to question the credibility of the poster is something that happens quite frequently when Egbert gets involved with any topic that questions the coaching staff.
Wait. I'm agreeing with the guy that Stanford put more effort in than we did but I'm am somehow engaging in an attack on his character because I want to ignore the argument?
I know you've come to hate me but, it's getting a bit much.
You do like to troll me. This is like the 4th time you've come in with your direct attack like this.
I'm going to use it again.
You Must Chill
The gentleman doth protest too much...
Just callin it as I see it.
The logic of your stance is unassailable.
But then again, you have taken to cursing me on these boards. So, the protest may have a sliver of justification.
Look we grate on each other. Just ignore me and I'll do the same.
Golden rule eh? wadda ya say.
dude, this is the 2nd time I've seen you personally call out Egbert. Do you really think you are in a position to be calling out anyone? You seem to like to take a holier than thou position a lot. But coming from someone that says they would rather pay a recruit money than lose that recruit it's not a position you should credibly take.
You always jump at anyone touching on this "true hokie" bullshit, but Egbert is a impassioned, pro-Beamer fan. There is nothing wrong with that. Yet you keep harping on Egbert for his pro-coaching staff stance. His view on Beamer and whether he wants to specifically address anyone's comment is up to him. And as a Hokie fan he can have it. It's not up to you to decide if he is defending his position well enough to be questioned or not. You routinely write things like that "it's a shame on everyone" or "screw these coaches" or"all the talk of (pick any topic) was bullshit" when things don't go VT's way or how you would like them to go.
It's hypocritical for you to make these kind of statements and not back them up then call out Egbert for not constantly defending his pro-coaches perspective. Chill the phuck out and stop playing the moral high ground card. We have a moderator, a great one, and it's not you.
This is fantastic
And you're right, this is the 2nd time I've called him on it, and I will continue calling him on it. This isn't anything to do with the "True Hokie" stuff. Egbert is an impassioned pro-Beamer guy. Great, everyone can have guys they stand up for. There are many others on here who are like that as well, and I don't have a problem with them. Where Egbert differs from the rest is that routinely he derails the conversation to attack the credibility of the person making an argument. I'm tired of seeing it happen, and I will continue to call him out on it when I see it happen.
This is my comment and it's far from a personal attack.
I'll try to tone that down further but, as you see, I tried to keep it light by calling it a nipple foto.
I will try very hard to keep it lighter.
Lighter nipples are good. Then again, so are darker nipples.
I'm an empassioned pro-nipple guy.
I was wondering what the heck everyone was talking about with respect to a guy who committed to Stanford and who we never really had a shot at/were pushing for all that hard..... I guess this is my answer.
the point:
your response:

his point is valid, and so is Hokie Bengal's. He wasn't denying the fact that Beamer has been absent in recruiting he merely said that using the nipple-Beamer picture lends people to believe in a certain bias of opinion, and thus the skepticism Hokie Bengal got in his posts. Valid point. I too see that image and immediately believe that Hokie Bengal falls on the "Beamer should be shown the door", politely or otherwise, camp. So taking criticism of Beamer from him is with a grain of salt.
Look at my post to Egbert and his response. He isn't arguing it. So stop attempting to call him out like it's your duty to.
Why'd you trap BlueCollarHokie in a glass house in the first place?
Sometimes it is healthy to laugh at oneself. The outrage over this image is tiresome at best.
Its a funny image. I used it as my own avi for a while because it made me laugh. Not everything is a social commentary.
I also looked at that image as absurdist rather than a condemnation of Beamer et al. It's a funny juxtaposition. Of course we understand what's actually going on there, but it doesn't make the look of it any less funny.
Believe me if I had a photo of Scot Loeffler being excited about a 0-0 tie to Wake Forest that would be my photo instead. Or if Frank did a in home I could make that my photo when the kid tweets it out. J/K
I upvoted a lot of your comments, but I also felt a lot like Frank at that moment, and maybe even threw a fist in the air myself. The guy wanted to win the game, and so did I.
Did people want him to be in the corner sucking his thumb, or throwing a temper tantrum because it was Wake, or what? He was INTO the game and FIERY about getting new life with a chance to win it, just like I was. I also get the humor of the whole thing (Wake), but I expect the type of piling on it has received from a hoo website or something.
Frank has been criticized all over Hokie websites for "losing his passion", "losing his competitive edge", etc., ad nauseam. And when he is caught in the emotion of the moment, pumped at the chance to pull out a victory on what was a stinker of a day, he gets jumped on for it, mercilessly?

We shouldn't have been in that position in the first place. But as was stated earlier I think it's a funny picture.
Based on the interview Scot gave between that game and UVA, I guarantee you, he wasn't celebrating much of anything in the booth.
This is very true. There is a significant portion of the fan base that takes any criticism of Beamer personally and will go on the offensive regardless of topic if any is sensed.
When was the trip?
Anything else going on at the time? Surgery recovery? Recruiting a coach?
Which may be more important, a new coach or a recruit leaning some where else?
Not being a jerk here, I really am wondering about scheduling. As far as I've heard, CFB has no problems with traveling at all to do coaching things.
Like I've said I don't care about Bryce Love I think McClease has more upside. Point is he should have visited Ferrell, both Taylors, Sweat, and Dalton. I've said it before we started to lose Sweat when we didn't get Dalton. Both of whom didn't get in homes by CFB or BF. But we lost Dalton when CFB and BF canceled their trip to see him the night before he committed and Larry Fedora took our places.
Jimbo Fisher did a in home with Sweat the night before he decided. It's not like they weer doing anything important that week. Oh yea I forgot they were preparing for the CFB Playoffs.
Let me clear something up for you.
Fisher did not visit Sweat at home the night before his decision.
Fisher & Co visited Sweat at his high school the day before his decision.
Our coaching staff visited the week before, per a previous arrangement with Sweat's family.
Sweat and his father spoke with Fisher on the phone the night before his decision.
Sweat also spoke with Stinespring on the phone that evening.
So what you're saying is Fisher had contact with Sweat twice the day before he committed and our head coach had zero contact with the #1 recruit on our board? I stand corrected but if you go look at the visit we made to his high school FRANK BEAMER wasn't there. I don't mind you guys arguing for Frank just don't make my point for me. Frank was scheduled to do a in home before he had throat surgery that never came to fruition though
Do we know why?
This is troubling to me. During the final push for Sweat, I get that Frank couldn't visit because of his throat surgery. But to never visit the top recruit on your board is just mind boggling.
Do we know who Frank did in homes with this cycle? I know you said to check 247 but I couldn't find a page specific to Frank's recruiting. (Admittedly, I don't use that site much.)
I'd be very curious to know why as well.
I was unaware he was scheduled for a visit and cancelled.
Knowing this may be quite enlightening.
Here you go fellas Frank has not been on a in home visit since he visited Anthony Scott 01/28/2014.
1/28/2014: Frank Beamer, Bryan Stinespring, and Cornell Brown from Virginia Tech Hokies visit Anthony Scott
http://247sports.com/Coach/Frank-Beamer-390
Thank you for this.
Zero in-homes this recruiting cycle? That's just...wow.
Yeah, that's not good at all.
And I'll probably get called out for rumor and speculation for saying this, and I am NOT trying to do that. But this is either a situation where Beamer doesn't want to do in homes, or he physically can't. And I'm not sure which I'd prefer, honestly. I don't think there's a better of those two alternatives.
Not saying Beamer went on an plethora of in home visits this year but that profile isn't accurate at all.
I'm assuming it doesn't list when he visits a school, etc., because Bud's profile doesn't list when he visited Oscar Smith for Sweat and I've seen newspaper articles referencing that visit. Think that's it?
This is correct. You can visit at school as much as you want. Cause you can be seeing "other" players. Visiting in school = unofficial visit, In Home = Official Visit.
Between this and the coaches not being able to reference recruits by name will make it very tough to get a good accounting. Too bad, this could have been an interesting comparison if it would have been possible to find earlier years and other head coaches to lay on a perspective.
If you want to you can reference my avatar when you say this. It will just make you more mad.
The factuality of this data is questionable at best considering it's already been refuted for Bud down below regarding his visit with Settle. Regardless, coaches aren't checking in on Foursquare (do people still use this?) and Facebook at the recruits house. The only way these services know who visited who and when is when a recruit tweets about it or talks about it to the service. Otherwise, coaches can't say anything because it's an NCAA violation to talk about a recruit.
The fact checking by you, VTGuitarMan and HokiesFTW123 is making me feel quite a bit better about the situation. Thanks for putting in the effort.
But it seems there's simply no way to get an accurate count of a coach's in homes?
The only way to confirm is by #SOURCES and by recruits talking about it. Coaches won't do it because of the NCAA regulations. And not every recruit is actively talking about who is at their school, home, or practice on social media. In the end, all you're finding out is who WAS there, not who didn't go or wasn't there from another school. It gives you one side of the story.
If you want to see a Head Coach that does in homes that are confirmed by players because they are excited to see him take a look at this.
http://247sports.com/Coach/Nick-Saban-3
http://247sports.com/Coach/Jimbo-Fisher-35
This is David Shaw's Timeline.
http://247sports.com/Coach/David-Shaw-723
David Shaw however doesn't show the In-Homes like we know he has had however if you dig a little deeper you get the following:
I'm guessing that the main 247 guy for each team has to put them in the timeline. But you can follow each coaches recruiting feed.
http://247sports.com/Coach/David-Shaw-723/Feeds
Here are Bud Foster's visits as well:
http://247sports.com/Coach/Bud-Foster-438
I know for a fact that this isn't accurate because Bud did give Tim Settle an in home visit.
Can't find the photos I was pretty sure it was only T. Gray, C. Wiles and baby Beamer. But you very well could be right. I would pray you are. Even if you are that doesn't excuse him from not going to see Jalen Dalton, Josh Sweat, Darvin and Darrell Taylor and Clelin Ferrell.
It was definitely Foster and Gray. There was a pic on Instagram (originally posted as part of http://www.thekeyplay.com/content/2014/december/4/2015-dt-tim-settles-top-4), but I guess it was taken down.
I gues that explains why I couldn't find it. No clue why 247 didn't have that on there when they were covering Settle pretty heavily.
People were wasting time with CBs for Bud based on that whole A&M ridiculousness? Wow, talk about boredom.
I'm not arguing for anyone, just clearing up the facts about the day before Sweat's announcement. Take from it what you will.
Sweat and his family called and spoke with both schools on the phone that night. Stinespring was our primary contact and he has an excellent relationship with Sweat and his family. Coach Beamer at the time was recuperating from throat surgery and could not speak. He physically could not speak. I have no idea how his health affected his ability to travel/recruit prior to his surgery. The school and insiders have been very quiet on the subject. But it was not a trivial surgery and he is just getting back to where he can talk normally again.
Thanks for that.
Ok I want everyone in this conversation to answer this as truthfully as possible, is a hypothetical situation.
You are the head coach of VT with a chance to land the #1 recruit in the country where you have been the favorite since day one. It's down to you vs. the national champions. You end up having to have throat surgery the week he is deciding. You were supposed to have a in home with him and his family the night before he decides. But now due to the surgery you can't talk/travel. But you have a ace in the hole. You have a HOF defensive coordinator you could send. Plus two elite recruiters in T. Gray and AMO. You have two choices send your HOF defensive coordinator and your two most elite recruiters with him plus a note written by you to the recruit apologizing for not bring there in person but explaining the circumstances or you can cancel the visit and let your TE coach and recruiting coordinator call him that night instead. What would you do?
Fla. State sent their HC the week they were preparing for the college football playoffs.
This one obviously. But didn't we already have an in-home with a coach or 2?
Those particular wouldn't be able to return, If I understand the rules correctly but, some version of that one in that case.
I certainly get your point there. Impossible to disagree.
Yeah but no bud or beamer. You don't just cancel the trip. You just have someone go in your place.
That didn't deserve a downvote. Equalizing.
Seems like we're splitting hairs here, focusing on where the face to face happened. The point is still valid that other programs seem to be out-hustling us on the recruiting trail.
If I remember correctly, Frank can barely talk right now post-surgery. I don't know any facts about the other non visits but maybe this played a role?
I'm not arguing your point, it's well made. But having Frank in their house doesn't guarantee anything is different though I absolutely agree it wouldn't hurt our chances.
Not sure if my comment spun the thread about the criticism of Beamer being called heresy. There are fair and unfair criticisms of Beamer and I consider this one fair. I just hope no one has tunnel vision so bad that they think we're the only team that misses highly desired recruits on an often regular basis. I'm not okay with that, no one should be. But that's how it goes sometimes when you aim high.
Yea no worries, I understand that other big time programs do miss out on big time recruits I don't mind us missing I have a problem with us not doing everything we can to get them to commit.
Also I gave you a leg, you are at 999 now. Good luck on getting to 1000 today.
It's pretty obvious the problem has been laid bare. We're improving recruiting while still whiffing on the elite blur chips. It seems Beamer has put an added emphasis on recruiting since the staff shakeup. He probably realizes our dip is correlated with recruiting failures. The question is, will Frank look at our improved recruiting and think, eh, with our coaches it's good enough, or will he be Robert Frost and realize he has promises to keep and miles to go before he sleeps?
The next recruiting cycle or two will answer that, I think.
As long as it isn't "Good fences make good neighbors".
eh, miles to go was a better reference.
Is that fence around the 757? Is Wilson wearing a Penn State hat?
If there's a fence around the 757, Zohn Burden is about to sound the trumpet of Jericho.
I like this analogy. Leg sir.
Ignoring the other names on the list of drink inducing, heart wrenching recruiting losses and focusing on this particular case, I'd rather have CFB focusing on finding a great WR coach by signing day than going to visit a recruit.
I'd rather the head man doing both.
Agreed. I don't see this as an either/or.
Do we know which recruits Frank did an in home with? Is that public knowledge?
It's on 247. You can count them on one hand.
Oops. I forgot to identify him as Shane Beamer. But in my original comment this is basically what I was alluding to, by pointing out that we sent Wiles and Little Beamer, and Stanford sent almost the entire staff, including the head man.
Yep no worries I thought that was how you meant it just lending a helping hand.
For anyone wanting to watch live.

He's off to Stanford
I hadn't looked at this thread for a few days...
