shout out to some of my colleagues who are working on this, I highly recommend you guys check this out if you get the chance and watch it on the weather channel tomorrow. I know a few people who have put a TON of work into this and what better way to get some credibility than be on the weather channel!?

Cool.

What'll they think of next? Phones that don't need cords?

This is going to be great for the ACC.

Heh, this is an interesting change of pace. As a West Virginian, normally it's people talking about things in the state being in Virginia or "Western Virginia". Met many people from as near as NC that don't know WV is a state...

VT Class of '12 (MSE), MVBone, Go Hokies!

Fellow West Virginian here... I know this scenario all too well! I went to a small college in Virginia that literally sat a few hundred yards from the state line of WV. It was amazing to see the freshmen that came in every year and had no idea that WV was even a state, much less had any idea they could walk there in about a minute. I mean, do we not teach geography in school anymore?

Go Hokies

No, we don't teach geography much anymore. More and more you'll find it glossed over in the lower grades and presented as an option in secondary schools.

Cantore looked great with his VT coffee mug this morning! Great job to the VT
Meteorology program!!
