Hokies offer 4 Star DB Robbie Robinson

Per his Twitter account, Hokies have offered 2016 4 star defensive back Robbie Robinson from Phoebus.

Robinson is 5'8, 160 pounds. You can watch his highlights here:

Yeah I have a feeling that he has been wanting this offer for a while. Hopefully Marshawn and Harry Lewis can help convince him to he a Hokie.

I'm all for getting high ranked recruits out of anywhere, and especially out of our own back yard.

But these highlights aren't doing it for me on the defensive side of things. The camera work isn't helping much, but seems like he's getting away with a lot of contact that gets flagged in college.

I'm sure the analysts and our coaches have seen much more than me though. Looking forward to better tape.

I kind of doubt he ends up on the defensive side of the ball. More likely a scatback, jet sweep kind of guy. Certainly seems to be a playmaker. Would definitely let Stroman focus on CB.
