Just found these beautiful Air Jordans for only $100. I bought them, I had to - I didn't intend on buying any shoes as I was browsing but I saw those and couldn't pass it up. Figured I'd share it up here too in case any Key Players are interested in some o&m shoes, Jordans at that, for only $100 plus free shipping.

I bought these on release date to add to my collection of O&M sneaks.
I now have 4 pair of O&M flavored Nike's and a pair of foams called Gym Green, which depending on how light shines on them, reflect maroon or orange.
Great shoe. AJ1 - mids, well Jordan 1's in general, are quite comfortable and usually made of higher quality materials.
Nice. Yeah these are my second pair of o&m Nikes. First being the Lebron 9 Low Chilling (I've mentioned em before on TKP)
I Grabbed these late last year. Now on Nike clearance section.
Damn. Replace the camo with orange and those are the slickest O&M kicks of all time.
Camo is the bomb though...

yeah i baught because of the O&M and now the only place i wear them in when im playing ball lol they arent really good to wear with pants or casual they are pretty much strickly for balling in.
I got these for Xmas and they a super comfortable and look much better than the pic gives them credit for.
Got these years ago. These are my Hokie Grails. When the Hokies go back to the MNC game, I will wear these and my Vick 7 jersey.
Until then, these stay in the box. Only wore them once.

So I just got a new pair of AM90s after spending a month trying to find O&M ones, although I didn't look on Amazon. I tried creating my own but Nike doesn't have our maroon as one of their color options which is strange considering we are a Nike sponsored school. On that same note if you search for Virginia Tech on the Nike website nothing comes up. I think this is an important issue for our athletic department in spreading our brand and making gear available to us. I did find a mostly maroon and white AM90 on Foot Lockers website but not in my size. Shoes in our VT colors would sell well (as would Hokie Stone plaque in Lane replicas, but that's another thing) I'm not sure why it's difficult to find them, and why you never see any around campus.
My guess is that while we love our orange & maroon, they probably wouldn't be in high demand outside of hokie nation. I've had people tell me that o&m is an ugly combination. I can't comprehend that thinking, but it goes to show you that o&m may not be so popular outside of our network.
Plus orange and maroon are a strange color to have random shoes in ya know. For us, it's not random at all because we have a million shirts, shorts, hats, jackets, etc. to go with them but I doubt non-hokies have too many orange/maroon items in their dressers.
I feel dirty for having talked down on our beautiful color combination.
I was mainly talking about the Nike website not having a maroon, which is weird because it's a fairly common color, and that they don't have any of our gear on their website. They do have Duke, LSU, Georgia, and others on their website however.
Team Red or Crimson is all Nike offers.
Also found the exact ones here and here but not sure how legit those are, you may want to research it

Well those look awesome and I was definitely thinking about buying them, but then there largest size is way to small. You'd think they'd have larger ones since some Hokie athletes may get them and those guys can be size 17 plus, which would help the rest of us buy some size 14's, but alas it's not to be. Great find though!

Made some hokie shoes on there a few years ago. Been my gameday shoe ever since. I personally don't like the Jordans though, they look cool but they aren't very good pure basketball shoes. The AdiRose has become my shoe, they're amazing. I think Adidas has all around taken over Nike in the quality of their shoes.
yeah I ball in adidas too, I just wear Nikes/Js to "look cool"
idk if you have tried any UA basketball shoes but i got a pair of brandon jennings a couple years back and now i wear steph currys (mostly when i ball outside) and nikes indoor because i wear my nikes for more than just playing ball but i think if UA could actually get some people to try them they would take over. super comfortable and great support i really like them alot.
I don't doubt it, I've come to realize that Nike is just the biggest name not necessarily the best quality. I think what I like the most about the AdiRose's is how light they are. I feel like I can run all day in those and I know my defense got better once I started wearing them. My one complain would be I can't get the tongue to stop tucking into the side of the shoe.
Nike's quality has tanked on any shoe that is not called "Premium".
awe yeah thats the worst i used to wear rebook basketball shoes. AIs and steve francis were always really good balling shoes but i had the same problem. try thicker socks! while nike may not be putting out quality shoes there sock game is top of the line but expensive as hell.
Yea, the Nike Elite's are awesome (maybe VT can give us real Elite's next time!). I have those Puma socks from Costco, maybe I'll try wearing 2 pairs instead.

I bought a pair of these for Mrs. 2Hokiesin1 a couple of years ago. Hoo-ribly uncomfortable according to her, so they're proudly displayed on our bookshelf now.

I took an old pair of white sneakers that I hadn't worn in a long time and gave them orange laces and spray painted them orange. Sorry I don't have any pics.
That will work, and save you at least $100.
That's what I told the wife. I only spent a couple of bucks on the laces, I already had the paint.
