Just shows that a significant % of kids (maybe a majority?) will likely play for more than one head coach if they are with a program for 5 years...and the whole "Beamer won't be there in 3 years" thing is overblown when it comes to recruiting.
Also shows that Ol' Fancy Gap Frank might just outlast a decent number of current coaches...
EDIT: Went back and did the math. 63% (81 of 128) of current FBS coaches were hired after this season's 5th year seniors would have signed their LOI in 2011.

Fact: Frank had been coaching at Tech 21 years when the second and third longest tenured coaches in the ACC started at their current jobs (Johnson at GPISU and Cutcliffe at Duke).

Seeing it laid out like this is very intersting. It seems ludicrous that Dabo Swinney is the 4th longest tenured coach in the ACC. Who would have put money on that back in 2008??
Also here's a hilarious joke to share with Hokie friends. Mike London is the 32nd longest tenured coach in the country.

In other breaking news water is indeed wet...
And Danny Coale is still open
And UNC cheats
And Mike London still has a timeout left.
And he still caught that ball

Frank started coaching at Tech when CPJ and Cutcliff's first seniors were being born

Not the poor poor recruits he somehow convinces to play UVA football...
The thread title reminded me of this....
I'm glad someone noticed that.
I was thinking that it had to be intentional.
Jimbo and TimeCop have been at their respective schools for the same amount of time...
Thank God LOLUVa made the right choice.
