Reports indicate that JVZ will take his talents to Chicago. Here is a brief write-up about it in Northwestern's student newspaper.

Best of luck, JVZ.

Good luck JVZ!

Hope we play y'all in the ACC vs. B1G challenge

Keep calm, Gobble on

Always, from the beginning, I liked Joey. Interesting fellow, we hoped he'd be a good one for us. Now I know when you make an omelette, you gotta break some eggs, and I wish Joey hadn't been one of them, but with a new Chef in town.....

Best of luck, Joey, I'll be pulling for you.

Reel men fish on Wednesdays

I'll always wonder what it was exactly that he did during practice to get that deep in the dog house, but I do wish him the best of luck.

He rebounded too well. Buzz is trying to build a program here

He joked that he was taller than Bucky. Buzz did not fund the humor in it.

All I will say was I think his punishment was appropriate for the incident. He's a super bright kid and I'm excited to watch him play at Northwestern, god knows they could use some added talent.

I hate he is not with team any more, he might have helped Hokies win one or two of those close games. Oh,well.

I don't know if this is the best move for him. I mean, look what happened to Dorian and Montrezl.

Oh. Never mind.

Well, DFS is currently suspended indefinitely by Florida...

Don't forget Ty Garland.

Whenever I think of Garland, I can't help but remember the Miami game years back where he hit three 3s in a row and banked two of them. He wasn't a bad ball player, but to say he was a bit unpolished would be an understatement.

Yeah, what I remember him mostly for is game winning shot for La Salle in the NCAA Tournament a couple years ago.

Even Robert Brown has seen better days. He is the leading scorer at UAB, who has a winning record at 15-13, 11-4 in conference. If UAB can win their conference tourney, then Brown gets a shot at the NCAA's. They are currently third in the Conference USA standings. Brown is chipping in 13.1 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.8 apg.

Garland has graduated and is playing in the National Basketball League of Canada for the Mississauga Power, averaging 14.7 ppg, 3.4 rpg, and 5.1 apg. He only recently made the jump though as he has only played in seven games, starting in the middle of January. Not sure why he wasnt playing before that, but he definitely is a starter now, playing almost 30 mpg.

Maurice Kirby, after going to Coffeyville Community College this season, will play his remaining three years at Loyola of Chicago.

Ben Emelogu is only averaging 2.9 points per game and playing only 15.9 minutes per game at SMU as well.

I know we're just talking about VT players who transferred, but I think we forget that Emelogu wasn't as highly rated as Ty Garland or Hank Thorns (who ended up being 1st team all MWC), much less guys like DFS, Brown, and Harrell. To say the talent level on last year's team was down is a gross understatement.

Joffrey, Cersei, Ilyn Payne, the Hound, Jeff Jagodzinski, Paul Johnson, Pat Narduzzi.

Good luck Joey! Wish things could have been different at VT though!

Good luck and please work on making some free throws.

Dell from the turkey!!

He must really not want to play in the NCAA tournament

I hope he has a great senior season at Northwestern
