What about Benedictine with Minor, Meyer and Williams?

I wasn't using walk-ons for this. Although I think Meyer is on scholarship now, so I can probably include that.

Thanks AB I gotta look out for my alma mater. I'm glad to see the football team is turning out quality players again and winning state championships.

losing out on Ferrell and bracey if he sticks with the duke commit make it seem like less of a pipeline.

Hargrave...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:

lol something was done here? I cant figure it out though.....

the family connections certainly pad these lists

Right? I have to wonder if we have a Dan River pipeline, or an Edmunds pipeline. Because I love both, but only one of the two can continue to produce in the future.

This shows we are still pulling a good chunk of our classes from "757" which sort of squashes the complaints about our recent recruiting struggles in the area. What this doesn't show is the number of 4 and 5 star recruits from each school that we missed in the "757". It would be interesting to see the opposite of this (we could call them say... Thoroughbred schools instead of pipelines) and which schools appear to be bias against Tech by looking at VA Top 50 players (or some number) that chose elsewhere and see if they add up for particular schools.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

I was putting that together yesterday. The complaints are justified

Outstanding, will be good to see the numbers laid out. Also is there some high profile recruit in Cincinnati, I saw a billboard for friggin Clemson up here yesterday. Also any folks in Richmond need to check out the local band Sleepwalker, they opened for J Roddy Walston and the Business here last night and rocked it, crowd called for an encore of the opener.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

I think the issue is high profile 757 misses, not the aggregate number...

I was literally just putting together data yesterday along these lines for 757. I'll post it this weekend. Preview: DO NOT looks at Bayside HS

Did we even offer this guy?

A couple of schools where the Hokies are trying to make in-roads

Ocean Lakes- Jahque Alleyne picked VT in this last class, and Coach Beamer has Ocean Lakes head coach as a primary speaker for the VT Spring Coaches Clinic. I know the Hokies would like to land more kids from this school tucked just off the beach near Sandbridge,

DeMatha- Cam Phillips just picked VT, Tino Ellis is a prime recruiting targer, and the head coach of DeMatha also produces a bunch of DI players. DeMatha's head coach is also speaking at the coaching clinic

Gilman School- Hokies landed Melvin Keihn and there are a bunch of good recruiting prospects attending. Hokies have three offers to kids attending Gilman. DT Ellison Jordan seemed to really like the Hokies, but his tweets lately seem to be very pro-Penn State.

Trinity Christian Academy- Isaiah Ford's alma mater. Hokies also made runs at Victor Alexander and top corner prospect Kevin Tolliver II. Hokies have two offers out for Trinity kids.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

If I remember correct, didn't Keihn live with the Gilman HC while he attended there?

Edit: The Poggi's are his adopted parents. If you missed this the first time it was on here, this is a great piece on him: http://www.thekeyplay.com/content/2013/december/24/melvin-keihn-has-over...

Ellison Jordan is the kind of kid who seems to be effusive and fulsome in his praise for everyone, in a very genuine manner. Everyone will probably think that they lead for him right up until he commits.

Does UVa count?

... have we had a lot of transfers or recruits flip from LOLUVa?

I mean considering they play at a high school level, thought they would be eligible for consideration...

My high school, Oakton, had Jack Tyler and Cody Grimm. Two guys who walked on and did incredible things.
