Note, this was at the bottom of the thread about the recent Washington Post article so I figured that I'd start a new conversation.
As Alum07's thread and following conversation has shown, there's some probable change in store for the basketball team. The most interesting part of that article was Buzz mentioning offhand that there were two players who bailed on weightlifting due to snow.
So let's skip the rest of the article and just get into the fun stuff: downright reckless speculation about who skipped the workout. I'm going to break down the odds for each guy based on very scientific things like guessing and small (but possibly unrelated) facts.
Malik Mueller: 2-1. Only played 13 minutes on Saturday. His PT has declined significantly since the Clemson debacle.
Shane Henry: 5-1. Look at him. Dude looks like he's skipped every weight session since he was 15.
Devin Wilson 8-1. Only has these odds because he's friends with Mueller. Could have been a group decision.
Adam Smith 12-1. Similar thinking to Henry, plus he only played 18 minutes against the Canes.
Jalen Hudson 20-1. Only this high on the list because he drives Buzz crazy and it kind of makes sense. No actual reason here.
Satcel Pierce and Justin Bibbs 35-1. They played too much for me to think they got on their coach's bad side.
Ahmed Hill: 1,000,000,000,000-1. If you've ever met Hill, you'd know that he wouldn't skip a single day of work. That dude is a human Buzz saw (pun totally intended).
Also, don't be idiots and hit me with the "you're so bad at odds making, obviously I'd pick Hill". It's a joke, damn.

Double posting for everyone!
I think Adam had the most to lose by venturing out, dude could easily get lost in a snow bank.
Not sure about Mueller, I dunno if the German thing works for or against him here. He could be scared of Russians.
I doubt it was Henry, I think he'd get around pretty easily like a moose
Greenberg probably was parked next to the Cassel in a van with "Free Candy" painted on the outside.
Greenberg gave me a ride from the big Lane lot to Pritchard in the pouring rain one time. I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of Werther's Originals in the cupholders.
What's the line on JVZ? Poor kid didn't even have a chance to play in the snow.
Seriously though perhaps it was his refusal to practice free throws on his own time? 31.7 % pathetic. I'll set the line at 3 to 1.
You... you mean the guy who isn't on the team anymore? I guess it'd make sense that he missed the team workout.
Exactly.
Malik MΓΌller has to be one of them. Everyone knows that Germans have trouble advancing in the snow.
As a history teacher I wish a could give this 1000 legs for this joke. Thank you for the humor.

As someone with a history degree, I second this. TO THE VOLGA!
they were so close
I knew I was a geek when my buddies were talking about Barbarella.

I thought they were talking about Barbarossa.
OT: Did you know that Chuck Norris has a bear skin rug in his living room? It isn't dead, it's just too scared to move.
I heard that Chuck Norris rents out the bear skin rug to Sam Rogers who wears it to Elegant social events in his name.
Satchel Pierce fouled out on his way to the gym by clumsily bumping into passers-by on the sidewalk.
Then Okafor ran him over.
I seriously doubt it's Wilson since Buzz congratulated him on twitter about making the ACC Academic Team the same day as the snow incident.
Video was released of the player leaving his place, only to turn around and go back.
HAHA. Technically not traveling he never lifts his pivot foot or should I say feet.
if your standing up and sliding its still a travel...
You are correct. Or maybe that is a very low, but extemely long hop. Obviously, it blew my mind.
