Does anyone not remember how we got robbed of a clear turnover by using replay at the end or the game? I mean both announcers said they could clearly see it and so did the fans. But the refs said it was inclusive? I mean besides us winning and forgetting the moment and not being an avid college basketball watcher is this common?
Yes, inclusive may be the better word for it.
From the very beginning it was clear the ref's had a favorite and it wasn't us.

This win was sooo needed. I know it's not a marquee win at all, but it makes me feel better going into the offseason. That last gif, I got nervous watching that sequence again haha.
I must admit, that last 6 seconds the only thought I was thinking was "This is how VT is going to let you down, with a tip in at the buzzer." Then they didn't. Now can we close the 20 point margin between us and Miami.
After the obviously terrible call I expecting the worse knowing the basketball gods were not on our sides
After three clean attempts I still wasn't sure how to act with a win like that.
The call was so bad, that Mama Karma took pity on our no-through-the-snow-walking basketballers and tipped the scales.
Karma is a bitch, but sometimes you need a bitch on your side.

There was another one earlier where 2 guys went to the floor to get a ball and we got it and tried to call a time out. The ref said that Devin was out of bounds. The replay was close-up and CLEARLY he was not OOB prior to calling timeout. Another bad ref call, and... he was right on top of the play. No excuse.
I love how the floor mic caught the ref confidently explaining to Devin that he touched the line. It wasn't even close! What's worse is that Wake's run started after that call.
Out of curiosity, were these the same refs that handled the VT/Duke game?
I don't think it matters when you play Duke you usually have a overcome the few extra calls/no calls that go in favor of Duke.
I think everyone here is focusing far too much on the game last night and not enough about the twins in warpaint. C'mon yall.
