Wow, that hit a lot of important points. On the plus side, I love Coach Burden's mentality. On the negative side, sounds like we'll have another year of "Has Isaiah Ford Started Playing Basketball Yet?" threads...

Also, yes, there is a Qdoba in Turner Place (you spoiled kids...)

Is that Tony Kornheiser? /s

Yeah, I think that was from Harry Potter and the Half-Lit Mensch.

Honestly, Qdoba is one of my least favorite places. I'm impressed that Wade stands in line that long to get food that is severely lacking flavor when compared to Chipotle. I'm more of a Origami Hibachi for lunch and 1872 Fire Grill kind of guy. Every Friday 1872 blesses us with Chicken and Waffles and some damn good mashed potatoes.

GIVE IT TO ME ROSCOE!

Yeah, and who charges extra for fajita veggies????

Why are you paying for overpriced limited options like Chipcraple, Moe's southwest grill is much better.

Eat at Moe's! More options than chipotle! Ingredients prepared fresh every 3rd Tuesday!

On a slightly unrelated note: anyone else tried wicked taco (where the old new town fitness used to be)?

Heard its above average, not great though.

Literally the only argument I hear for Moes is "But they have free chips and salsa!!"

People who don't like Moe's have never had their chipotle ranch sauce on their burrito. I don't like Moe's food without it. Chipotle IS fresher but they don't have chipotle ranch sauce. THE END.

Also, Chipotle needs to offer rice without cilantro in it.

No cilantro?

Cilantro is disgusting and should be killed with fire. Moe's forever!

Cheaper, have more options for no added cost, free UNLIMITED chips and salsa, not a tiny bag. The food is just as quality since Chipolte has admitted they can't source enough of the higher quality beef and other products,to really make a difference.

The Moe's near me have always had fresh and more plentiful options that they don't charge extra for. While I think the people behind Chipotle are marketing genius they don't do anything but market a name brand well.

BUT MOES HAS FREE CHIPS AND SALSA!!! ..... don't care, going to chipotle

Bleeding burnt orange and chicago maroon

Anyone who doesn't like Moe's has never had a taco stack from Moe's.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

Anyone who doesn't like Moe's has not had a Wrong Doug from Moe's. This is the absolute killer of any hangover you may ever have.

I've never really understood the hatred aimed at Moe's. I've never had a problem there.

In the same vein, I've never understood the cult of Chipotle. I mean, sure, it's good, but some people go on about it like it's the nectar of the gods and they can't live without it.

Also, my wife is a mixed-animal veterinarian and she has said that some of their animal welfare claims (cage-free chicken, etc) are actually industry standard and are nothing special, they just advertise it like it is.

Marketing marketing marketing. Most people don't even know during their run to the top McDonalds was calling a lot of the behind the scenes work. MCDONALDS!!!!!!

Well yeah, McDonald's used to own the place. But unless Chipotle starts serving McFishes, I'll still be taking my business there

no wonder she's unimpressed with their claims, your wife is dealing with genetically spliced animals! what are we talking about here, Ligers? 4-assed monkeys? manbearpigs?

Hah, that would be cool. It just means that she handles both pets and farm animals (and the weird instances of farm animals that are treated like pets - there was one goat that lived in the house and would sit on the couch and watch soap operas with the lady).

If Knowles is having problems with getting hit, why did he run so many balls out of the end zone last year? He could have just taken the touchback.

Because he runs track and likes to run?

That was a great video of practice. And I love seeing Kendall at practice, on the field, learning, getting better, and probably coaching some of the younger/newer DB's. Awesome stuff!

Kendall might as well have his own whistle.

Thoughts on Brewer? Hopefully it's nothing serious

"We were at the pinnacle, and we did it for years," Foster says. He pauses, nods, takes a deep breath. "And I did it with the best guy in the business."

Lower back strain per Andy Bitter. Not serious just precaution.

@AMB4VT

What was the history of back problems at Texas Tech? Similar injury? Did he have surgery?

My first thought there, and beat writers covering Texas Tech never really got a good answer as to what the specific injury was. It was enough that everyone reported that he would be the expected starter, then fall came and he couldn't practice. By the time he was healthy, he was on his way out the door.

Gotcha, must have missed that

My thoughts: I like him, don't love him

I second that emotion. I must admit, however, I absolutely did love him for a while after that OSU game last year.
