GT has put "State Champs" on their ring because of their victories over UGA and GSU. Saw this and it made me wonder if there were any other epic trolls like this or if it's the 1st time something like this has been done.
Also, if you got to design one. What ring troll would you make to troll a VT opponent?

"2014 Ohio State Champs" ?
Just a ring that says "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" because a shirt just wasn't enough.
You mean we didn't make transitive national champion rings?
Put the likeness of Thomas Jefferson on it throwing the VT hand sign.
They only trolled them on a ring? Amateurs.
We should have completed the ultimate troll by carving our logo into their brand new basketball arenaohhhhhhh wait we did that.
Pictures?

"The lines were very straight" I wouldn't expect anything less from a Tech engineer
Also this:
A Hokie VT in Wahoo Country
Even better that UVA hired a VT architect. After all, wasnt Jefferson the father of architecture in the US?
I know the guy that did this
all 10 of them?
The guy that out the Orange T on the Virginia field. Really amazing that he didn't get caught given how obvious it was it was him.
Good grief that is the cheapest looking ring I've seen for a legitimate accomplishment. They couldn't even zirconia the GT logo?
Looks like a fan giveaway replica.
Their game uniforms are Russell Athletic. Are you that surprised?
Anytime we beat UVA, our bowlring will say State Champs. I have 4 from 2004 to 2007 and it has State Champion on all of them.
So this isn't a new occurrence and its quite common.
My guess is that a 2010 ring wouldn't be able to say that. *ducks*
I don't understand. Did something happen?
That's pretty cool. The more I think about it. When my team beat Michigan in 07 (App State) we put their stadium on the side of our rings and the score. I don't know if that's considered "tolling" or not, but I didn't even think about that until after I started the thread. My mindset is that we were such underdogs and the win was so huge that it should be immortalized on a ring.
It's good this wasn't a thing back in 2010 in VA. Otherwise JMU would be wearing state champions rings.
Nope. They lost to Richmond who lost to LOLUVA who lost to us.
If anyone gets a state champ ring, it's William and Mary (3-1).
