EEEEYAAAAYAH!!!!!!

FOSTERS: Australian for defense

This is amazing.

Ah, the ol' Infinite JC Theory.

"That kid you're talking to right there, I think he played his nuts off! And you can quote me on that shit!" -Bud Foster

Love this from JC defending his performance against a certain Black Friday opponent....."Just because we might not have played teams that had the best rushing defense,"

It's really hard to not love J.C. Everything he says is always about putting the team first and doing what the coaches think is best despite the murky situation that he emerged from last year.

stick it in, stick it in, stick it in!

Stay Healthy. Work Hard. Stay out of Trouble. That'll get you on the field.

Onward and upward

I've never forget the beating he and Brewer took in the UVA game and they kept battling. Those guys are warriors!

This! I know most are not the biggest Brewer fan at QB1, but his heart is undeniable. I want that kind of guy at the helm.

I've always had respect for JC as he has kept persevering through all the ups and downs of his career, as many have mentioned. Always team first, works hard amidst the constant depth chart shuffling/rotations, and patiently waits for his time on the field. He and RVD also went to the DR to further their development as leaders.

I'm proud that he's a Hokie and wish him the best as he finishes his last year in Blacksburg. I'm real excited to see what he can do behind this O-line that's coming together so well this spring, which itself is super foreign to me at this point in the offseason.

awesome video. thanks for the post.

Great stuff in that video. Thanks for the link.
JC and RVD living Ut Prosim

Pain is Temporary, Chicks Dig Scars
Glory is Forever, Let's Go Hokies!!

I had no compunction whatsoever about J.C. falling to the bottom of the depth chart last year, in fact I called for it. I will gladly eat however much crow he and anyone else cares to put on my plate. Seriously, to completely turn things around the way he did (with some O-line improvement towards the end) is insane.

I don't think the improvement of the O-Line towards the end can be understated.

I think people are forgetting how tentative JCC was running for much of his career.

We're all glad he turned it around, but it's not like hoping he would get fewer carries was that appalling of a desire from the fanbase. He earned his spot on the bench.

Watching him against Pitt, you never would have thought that he could be an effective player for the Hokies again. It wasn't just the lack of production and the brutal fumble. His body language looked like a kid who had checked out. For him to recommit and be aggressive when given a shot (remember his momentum started versus Duke where he had a series of tough nosed runs that were not super-well blocked) and then build on that success really speaks to his character. A bunch of kids would have gotten into a backup mentality or looked for the door. Kudos to him.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN
